Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

on the next day, which was the day before Ali's mission, he woke up and went to have breakfast with his grandfather to hear the rest of the story that his grandfather must finish today to be ready for the mission the next day. The two gathered around the food, and the grandfather continued his story, saying: After Tiam swore that Samer would be the means of war for our tribe, and that he would be the future king of the city that he would build, a city that would have no equal anywhere in the world, a city that he would be the king of, Tiam ordered his servants to go with him to the land he had chosen to build the new city on, which was called Washendi. The city, as the grandfather Khalid told us, was very vast. On that day, Tiam ordered the presence of construction and architecture engineers whom he had been preparing for that day. He explained to them the shape of the city, but with his magic, Tiam could make them see the shape of the city he wanted it to be. He made them see how the city would look like after three years, as building the city would take three continuous years until it is completed in the initial form he imagined, but the development will continue over years and years, as Tiam swore that his city would be advanced and developed, but no one would know anything about it because it would be hidden from people's eyes. Tiam gave the instructions and orders to start building, and he collected around ten thousand workers to work on building the city. At the same time, his tower, Tiam's Tower, was his palace from which he governed until the new city was built. Tiyam ordered his slave girl, Hutun, who had become his wife, to take care of Samer, whom he named Nalan. All of this happened after Samer was kidnapped a week ago. After that, Tiyam sent a message to Qasim and said to him:

I killed your son as you killed my daughter, and the seal on your son's leg will be a sign of this. However, our war is not over yet. Your son will grow up and this seal will be passed down to certain people of his descendants. The seal will remain with them for eight generations. When the seal appears on one of his descendants, then he will be the chosen one for a new war between us. The victor will be the one whose tribe will boast of it for a hundred years. But you must keep this message well and keep it with you until your son becomes twenty years old. Then, give him this message. After delivering the message, he will receive a book that contains eight laws. Each law will appear to the owner of the seal, and the victorious one will immortalize his name among the tribes. That's enough for now, but the message is a trust in your hands. If your other son is still alive, then fulfill what's in it... The talk has ended.

This was the text of the message that Al-Qasim received from Tiam, after which he screamed in pain that Tiam had killed his son. He became sad for the fate of his other son and for the wars that were written on the descendants of his offspring thereafter. Al-Qasim's wife did not believe what she heard from her husband about the message and did not believe that her son had been killed, and that there would be a future chain of blood that would run through her son Khalid's descendants. What a bad luck for her son.

The tribe was disturbed after this message and sadness spread throughout the place. The mother of the two children's tears did not stop as she cried for her killed son and for her other son whose future was threatened by Tiam the seer. Al-Qasim went to his father, screaming and telling him that he was the cause of destroying his life when he killed Tyam's son without guilt, and that his guilt would be in his offspring for the next eight hundred years.

Since Tiam sent this message, his news had been cut off for twenty years and we did not know anything about him after that. He was waiting for twenty years to pass until Khalid grows up and reaches the expected age for the war that we did not know its type, how it will be, and where it will take place.

Khalid grew up and became a young strong man who trained well in the art of war. His father informed him about the expected fate and that he must be prepared at any moment when the prophet Tiam appears and sends another message to remind him that the time for war between his tribe and the tribe of the prophet has come, and that he must be ready and alert at any time.

Days passed until Khalid turned twenty, and on the thirteenth night of the lunar month, when the moon was at its fullest, Qasim and his son Khalid heard the sound of galloping horses approaching their house. When Qasim and Khalid went outside to see what was happening, they found a horse standing in front of their house with a strange box on its back. Qasim took the box down from the horse but could not open it. However, it was written on the box that if he wanted to open it, he had to repeat the phrase "Oh, box, open by order of the prophet," three times.

Qasim repeated the phrase three times, and then the box was opened. He found the awaited book and a message with it, which read, "To Khalid Al-Sulmani, the time of the expected war has come. This book contains eight laws. Each law appears to the owner of the mark every hundred years, and all instructions appear after completing each task from the law. The first law will be Khalid's share, as he is the first to open the laws of the book, as the mark is with him, and the law will not appear to anyone but him only. Therefore, no one will see what is written in the book except for the chosen one. At two o'clock after midnight on Wednesday morning, Khalid must go alone to the white hill located at the beginning of the town, carrying the book with him, and not have anyone with him. The mission to execute the law will last for a month, and the chosen one from your tribe and the chosen one from our tribe will compete, and then the name of the victorious person will be remembered throughout the next hundred years until the new chosen one comes... The message ended."

When Qasim and Khalid read the letter, they were worried about the words written in the letter, and Qasim did not know the fate of his son or the type of war, but it was the destiny that was written for the Sulmani family, and there was no escape from it. Qasim looked at his son Khalid and said to him, "I know you are afraid, my son, and you have the right to be, but please come back to me and your mother safe and sound, for we have no one but you. You must take revenge on them for killing your brother, your twin, Samer, who was killed by the gangster."

Khalid replied to his father, "I am not worried, my father, and I am not afraid. I have prepared for this day and trained a lot, and my trust in God is great that we will triumph over the gangster, God willing. I will do my best to come back victorious to you, and you will be very proud of your son after this mission, God willing."

Qasim was very happy with his son's words, but fear filled his heart. He went into the house to tell Khalid's mother what had happened, and that the gangster had sent the book. He told her what he had read in the letter. Khalid's mother was frightened by what she had heard, and she did not know if she would see her son again or if it would be the last time. Tears filled her eyes, and she cried bitterly for his fate, but her hope in God was great that He would return him safely.

Khalid entered his parents' room to sit with them before the mission's scheduled time. He had three hours left before he had to bid them farewell and go to the White Hill with the book to find out what the mission was and what the supposed war would be. Khalid prepared his weapons and supplies and sat with his parents to satisfy himself before the moment of separation. The clock was approaching two, and Khalid had to get ready to leave and say goodbye to his family. Khalid hugged his mother tightly and told her not to cry, saying, "I will return to you, God willing. Just pray for me a lot in your prayers so that Allah will grant me success in my mission." He also hugged his father and took his equipment, mounted his horse, and galloped towards the White Hill. Khalid arrived at the White Hill and found a strange door. He wondered how this door appeared in this place that he had never seen before. He found written on the door, "Open the book and read the first law." He headed towards the door, opened the book, and the words began to appear in the book, along with the first law.

Law #1

Oh chosen one, approach the door and open it while your eyes are closed. Then return to me for the rest of the instructions will be revealed to you. The law will appear to you after completing each step. Khalid closed the book and closed his eyes. He walked towards the door and opened it. In an instant, he found himself in a strange place where darkness surrounded him. When he opened his eyes a second later, a faint light began to appear at the end of the corridor. He headed towards the light, and when he reached it, he found a large panel with the words "Open the book and read the following." He opened the book, and the words began to appear before him. "Turn left and then you will find clothes made for the chosen one. Wear them and leave your sword. Take the sword prepared for you, and you may choose something from your belongings to take with you. Do this and then move on to the next step." Khalid closed the book and went left. He found the clothes that had been made for him. They looked strange, but they were made with great precision and were also beautiful.

They were specifically made for the first chosen one. Khalid put on the clothes and took something from his belongings that his mother had made for him. She had told him that this drink would heal him from any disease, and he should always have it with him, no matter what happens. Khalid put on the clothes and took the bottle from his belongings. Then he returned to open the book to find out what the next step was. "Walk straight ahead until the end of this road, and you will find yourself in the city of Ashandi. Two people will receive you as soon as you enter the city. When you arrive and complete the task, open the book to learn the next step." Khalid closed the book and walked straight ahead until he reached the end of the corridor, where he found himself at the entrance of the city of washindi.

Two men were waiting for him, just as he had read in the book. When they saw him, they approached him and said, "Welcome, chosen one. You must now come with us to the hospitality center to rest. Then you will know the rest of the task because it will not be revealed to you until tomorrow."
