"That's… that's weird." His father says, pacing back toward the dressing table, he looks as if deep in thoughts. When Zelian's gaze darts to his omega father he has a frown etched onto his pink lips, eyes unfocused as they stare blankly at the wall behind Zelian.
"I know." Zelian says, "What I felt was pure madness. I can't even understand all of this, Father." He really can't.
His Papa looks up at him and then toward his father. "What are you thinking, My king?" He asks, his hands coming to close around the emerald silk of his robe. The king's gaze cut to him, but no word flew past his lips. Instead, he gazes at Zelian, and from the look of it, he knows his father has something to ask him.
"What do you mean when you say what you felt was pure madness? What did you actually feel?" His father asks, a crease forming between his eyebrows. And Zelian can hear the wheels running inside his head.
