When I opened my eyes and realized I had fallen asleep in Ent's apartment, I froze. Not because I had fallen asleep at a friend's apartment, but because I had felt safe enough to do so. It just felt normal, and that was not normal for me.
I rubbed my eyes and then heard plates coming from the kitchen. I jumped up and realized that Ent had made breakfast. Eggs and bacon. I had to admit that it smelled wonderful. That was probably why I got up and sit at the table like I was not just some guest that passed out randomly in a guy's house that I barely knew.
"You seemed to have slept well." Ent said with his trademark smirk.
"I'm sorry I passed out here. I hope I wasn't an inconvenience." I said.
"I don't mind. You threw me for a loop with how quickly you fell asleep, though. We can make it a regular habit if you want." He smiled.
"Did you just invite me over to sleep on your couch regularly?" I tilted my head in confusion.
