"Let's do this!"
I smiled at Callie's cheer and focused on the forest spreading out around us. The great tree was behind us and several large but smaller trees spread out around it. Based on the name of this dungeon it was an unending forest.
This probably meant that it stretched out forever or that it looped you back to the beginning making it feel like it was forever. Either way there was no point in leaving the great tree in such a place.
One simply had to endure the waves for as long as possible and hope that you were able to gain some kind of experience or loot from the adventure. If you were able to pick up anything amidst the endless assault that is.
I looked around and found one of those brown birds. They were pecking at something on the ground, minding their own business. It looked docile for now, but I knew if I prodded it just a little bit those black, simple eyes would turn red and the horde would descend upon us.
