Chapter 5 - ***Five: Misha***

If I say that I'm not under the liquor's influence, I would be lying to myself. The truth be told, that I am in fact tipsy. Yeah I am tipsy and there's really no denying it. I'm long past being discreet. I'm even having an inappropriate battle with myself inside my intoxicated mind every time my eyes look at her. A few others joined their little party which pulled my attention away from her momentarily. Shaun raised an eyebrow at me in a questioning manner, yet I completely ignored it. Simon's unexpected statement reached my ears, but it didn't fully set in until a loud splash embedded my senses. The response that bubbled out of my sister's mouth took me by complete surprise. Instead of pushing herself out of the water (I mean that's what I would have done), seeing how she's quite literally touching the edge of the pool; she changed her direction and started swimming my way. Her eyes are nailed upon me. Everybody is taking in the scene that's unfolding before their eyes. Slowly she inched closer and closer at a painfully teasing pace. As the water became shallower, she stood and inched closer to the slippery steps at the edge of the pool. The way her black dress is sticking to her form is driving me crazy. Her dark blonde hair licks her back in a sleek fashion. Her gorgeous eyes are even more enticing as they bore deeper into the depth of my soul. In the heat of the moment I licked my lips, which instantly caught her attention. She rewarded me with a rare smile; it quite frankly knocked my feet from under me (and I'm not meaning it literally). The young beautiful lady inched even closer and halted mere centimeters away from my sitting form. Genevieve leaned in closer, closing the remaining space between us and gently pressed her lips to mine. Even in my state of intoxication I know that I mustn't. I know that I shouldn't, but I can't seem to pull away. Instead I kissed her back. This caused even more of an uproar. Oh boy, how am I going to get myself out of this situation?

"GENEVIEVE ROBERTS!!! What on God's green Earth are you doing kissing the teacher?" Her mother bellowed in a very unattractive screech-like tone. I smirked into the kiss and she mimicked my action. Apparently she's enjoying it just as much as I am. A firm grip grabbed hold of my upper arm and pulled me away from her soft, warm lips. I'm too enchanted by her mere presence to acknowledge the danger. "THE PARTY IS OVER!!!" Her father bellowed this time around in a rage-filled voice. It snapped me momentarily out of the enchantment. The hand that's still in a firm grip wrapped around my arm is attached to her father's arm. "GO… TO… YOUR… ROOM… IMMEDIATELY!!!" The man of the house screeched at his daughter. She obeyed and left in a hurry. As much as I would like to give her one final look I can't while this angry man is standing right beside me. "As much as I want to punch your face in for kissing my daughter, I can't really blame you for her poor judgement. I'm extremely sorry for my daughter's actions," he apologized as he loosens the grip and rubs the tender spot that his tight grip caused. If only he knew how much I've just enjoyed that and how I would do it all over again even if we were stuck in a time loop. The thing that bothers me the most is a part of his statement: Poor judgement? Is that all that I am through his eyes; an action that defects poorly upon him? Which leads me to another question: Is it my daytime job or age difference that's a poor judgmental issue or is he referring to me as a whole? Am I not up to his standards? Is he one of those parents who would force his daughter into an arranged marriage? I swallowed my pride and nod my head. "Dear could you kindly prepare a cup of strong coffee for Misha?" He asked his wife as he quickly turned his attention towards her. The both of them left along with their middle child, showing the people out. "I think its best not to correct him, bro," Shaun stated. I lay back into the chair with a heavy sigh and looked up at the starry sky. "Honestly dude, that was so fucking hot!" Her brother exclaimed slightly. A throaty laugh erupted from my lips.

After a cup of strong black coffee (surely their way to sober me up), Margo and I were showed out. As soon as we were safely inside the car, their front door closed. A grunt tumbled from my lips as the engine roared to life. "Didn't you say that you're not trying to impress Genevieve, oh no, you have yet to answer my question seeing how you've avoided eye contact earlier," my sister said. She hadn't once looked at me through her entire statement. Another deep contorted sigh heaved from my lips: "Fine, if it means getting you off my back I'll confess. I feel like a complete idiot when I'm around Genevieve Roberts. I feel like a foolish, infatuated schoolboy." She turned her attention shockingly towards me. "I wasn't going to give you crap about it. Geni is awesome and Shaun is right about one thing, the two of you complete each other," Margo remarked. I pulled the car to a halt as a red light indicated to do so at an intersection. Slightly I shifted myself so that I can look at my sister, "Are you serious?" She smiled awkwardly my way. "Why are you looking at me like that?" The honk of a car drew my attention back towards the road ahead.

Incredulously I drove on, my sister have me downright speechless. I've never given her the benefit of the doubt; I always thought that she wouldn't understand. How wrong I had been?
