Zenith Tower
The Zenith Tower was in panic, so as the councils. They couldn't seat on their high thrones anymore, they could only walk around aimlessly and sympathetic. Their minds were completely hindered, clouded and renounced. Amelia thought she could easily manipulate them into telling the truth she already knows, they're thousands of years older, virtually older than most countries before their genesis. They are vast in knowledge and experience, deception doesn't work with them. They're far exceptional.
Weredogs and werebats arrived taking to their human forms immediately they approached the councils. A man walked out of their midst, he seems to be their recent leader after Amelia gave up her position.
Impatient Corvinus rushed towards him "Tell me you've him dead! Tell me you've them all dead!?" He muttered at him intelligently.
The man dropped his head "We tried..."
On hearing that, Corvinus lashed out and grabbed the man by the neck raising him slowly off his feet "You did what?" He screamed asking.
Dracula and lady Sif walked towards him "Calm down Corvinus, let him talk!" They said.
"He needs to be punished!" Corvinus shouted but multiple recognized voices halted him. He looked behind the strangled man to see the watchers arriving from a blink of dark light. Corvinus dropped the man not hearing what the watchers said earlier "What did you say?" He asked.
The watchers knelt before them "Lord William the first found them before we could attack, before they could attack!" They exposed.
The councils sighed in relief but more panic, with William finding the Dhampir, Nelapsi, the alpha and the ascended vampire, they are completely ruined. They had to do something then an idea struck Dracula, knowing they couldn't do anything else than to find William and stop him.
"We've to find him!" He said looking at their faces thinking they'd counter his idea once again since he's the last son and the youngest in the family "We don't have any other choice than to find him and end these madness once and for all." He said again.
Corvinus and lady Sif realized what Dracula has been telling them earlier, had it been William was dead, he won't be able to find them and their panic wouldn't have grown into something more odious and unpleasant. Corvinus as the elder of the family couldn't tell what to do. William as the third youngest son before Dracula is a very talented entity and extremely powerful, even powerful than other councils because his mode of transcendence is just so outstanding not even the ancientest Corvinus could take him down.
"I know what you're both thinking but seriously? How will he able to take the three of us? He can't!" Dracula said knowing the looks on their faces.
Lady Sif was thoughtful so as Corvinus, they were both scared of him because he isn't just immortal but more. They've seen him in action during their time of dethroning their father, William was the only sibling against their fathers designation and waged war against his other brothers. None of them could take him down, they couldn't tell why but Corvinus realized William isn't bounded by any will, he's something else entirely bestowed additionally and empowered by their father. No one knows why the ancient one empowered William but they believed it was part of their father's selfishness.
"What made you think we can take William down? We did that in the past but failed, what gave you the assurance of us defeating him?" Lady Sif attracted Corvinus attention as she asked Dracula.
Dracula turned towards the throne "I don't know, we can't just let him take the Dhampir and the Nelapsi just like that!" He faced them "We are all scared of death, I personally, am afraid of ending, i don't want to die now and leave everything to one wretched hybrid!" He said again now furiously.
Corvinus and lady Sif understood his determination and walked pass him. Dracula childish brain is only covetous of maintaining his supremacy, he doesn't think about the existence of his brothers. He solemnly wants William dead just for anyone of them to take his place but it doesn't work that way.
"It doesn't work that way Vlad, it doesn't and will never!" Lady Sif said as she walked pass him.
Corvinus added "We know how your domain meant to you and we also cherish our powers either but you going ahead of us thinking murdering William would give you more power, you're dead wrong!"
Dracula was astound "It's not about the powers! It's something else!" He said finally.
On hearing this, the councils halted and turned at him casually.
"What did you mean?" Corvinus who was more curious asked. With what Dracula said earlier, he knew he was hiding something. Turning at him, Corvinus asked again "What are you talking about Vlad!?"
Dracula was a little petrified and presumptuous "I never knew it was how it was going to begin!" He said "I just made my choice, I wasn't manipulated. I just did what had to be done!" He said again.
Lady Sif was more curious and she turned also "What are talking about Vlad!" She asked calmly.
The armies and the watchers dropped their heads to the councils argument but after Corvinus waved his right hand in authority, they emptied the room immediately leaving them alone.
"Speak or dog caught your tongue Vlad!" Corvinus asked angrily.
Out of pressure, Dracula flared out "I killed his mother, i killed his mother! Are you happy?" He asked angrily "I killed the Dhampir's mother! So, i systematically made the dhampir." He added "William knew but I begged him not to tell anyone."
Lady Sif and Corvinus were astound. Earlier, they promised the Dhampir who killed his mother but that was a wish that would never come true not knowing the killer was amongst them.
Large fangs sprung out of Corvinus mouth, fangs so elongating they dropped up and down his upper and lower lips as he grew more furious "You brought this curse upon us!?" He said with a very throaty voice that could be considered a roar "You created the hybrid abomination?" He asked again.
Lady Sif calmed Corvinus and said to Dracula "But you knew why we caused the segregation between all species! Why did you go behind our backs creating another abomination?" She inquired.
Dracula could still remember why the segregation occurred, he knew he was the cause of all that has happened and that was why he was trying effectively to bring down his mistakes. The segregation between all species was to avoid the coming together of different species from mating and birthing abominations, this alone caused Dracula to abandon his own son Kudlak and tried assassinating his granddaughter, the Nelapsi.
"You've fallen us Vlad, you made a huge mistake!" Lady Sif said still trying to calm Corvinus who could rip him in half if given the chance but it's prohibited amongst the councils by themselves.
Out of rage, Corvinus roared that immediately summoned the watchers, werebats and weredogs. They rushed in and bow before the councils.
"Find my brother and bring him here alive or dead!" Corvinus ordered which astounded Lady Sif and Dracula, even the armies and the watchers were amazed. They couldn't take down William and he's sending twerps to bring him down?
"Impossible!" Was what came out of lady Sif's mouth as she walked towards Corvinus "Are you out of your perceptions? You barely stood your ground against your own brother thousands of years ago, now you're sacrificing lives just for your own selfish needs?" She asked angrily slapping him on the chest.
Corvinus gave it a mathematical thought and sighed in relief, lady Sif was right. He only reacted out of anger but now, he's back. He looked at the armies and waved his hand ordering them to leave and they did.
"So what should we do?" Corvinus asked lady Sif silently.
Lady Sif thought looking randomly at Dracula and back at Corvinus "We can't kill our brother but we can talk him out of it. He knows basically what we are going against, perhaps a chat with him might change his mind against the truth." She idealized.
Dracula from afar shouted "It won't work!"
"Silent!" Corvinus shouted back pointing without looking at him and Dracula kept mute. Corvinus looked at lady Sif and swallowed rigidly "Vlad is right, William has always been the hot headed one among us for decades, he won't listen to anything we have to say." He said.
Lady Sif thought again, Corvinus is right. William is hard, as hard as stone when it comes to decision making most especially concerning truth, justice and loyalty but he doesn't know ruling with enough positives is like ruling with susceptibilities, one would be vulnerable and besides, the world doesn't need to be rule with truth and honesty. Thinking about William, lady Sif felt heartbroken for him and she sighed softly.
"We'll have to force him to believe in whatever we tell him, how hard could it be? He's our brother!" She said to Corvinus and he nodded negatively smiling to her false illustrative view of William.
"He will never agree to our ideas, he's who he is!" Corvinus boycotted.
Lady Sif gave out a brief sharp sigh "We created the rule that chained us together, then we'll be forced to erase it!" She finalized and from afar, Dracula smiled at this. It would be his greatest honor to have William fall by his knees.
