Drake had left the Mythic rookies to their training since he needed to maintain his tavern for official business. It was how he made his money for the bills, after all. Though, Drake grew a small smile as he did indeed miss the experience of training new warriors for their journeys ahead. As the patrons within his tavern went on their business and D&D Games, the Paladin Bartender was soon approached by a man of Egyptian Origin to his surprise. The man dressed in a getup suited for a detective, his attire being colored with white as well as grey, and seemed to be another P.I. like Amari. Yet, Drake felt a powerful radiance emanating from the man who took his seat at the bar. A keen detail that Drake spotted was a necklace that had what appeared to be the skull of a falcon as he placed his fedora on the counter. "Good afternoon, sir. I am here to discuss a matter that my associates have disclosed." Spoke the man with an Arabic accent, "It regards ze individuals zat Malik had sent over for zeir training." He explained while readjusting his white tie that had a crescent moon pinned on it. Though, the man began to chuckle due to being unmindful about introductions. "Bardon me, I have forgotten ze introductions. My name is Khnem Safar or berhabs you might recognize me by anozer name. Ze Aker Traveler and God Devourer, Khonsu." Stated Khnem with a sense of professionalism and with an indirect demand respect from the Paladin.
Drake was quite off guard by being in the presence of such a high-ranking member of The Ethereal Council and one of the founders of the group. To recompose himself before going further with the matter at hand, Drake began to clean out a glass beer mug with a small sigh. "What brings a member of The Council to my tavern, Mister Sabar?" He asked as Drake glanced over the being that sat before him.
"Well, it deals wiz oddities which began to sbring up from ze youngling's search for his mozer." Khnem explained as he folded his hand upon the counter, "I am not sure why or how ze creature has come to be. Nor do ze ozer members among Ze Council. Zough, we susbect zat zeir are Midgardians zat have far more current knowledge regarding ze bower of Arcane." Khnem explained further resulting in Drake placing the mug down. The shock was clear on his face, which Khnem was quick to acknowledge. "Correct, Mister Ameranz. Even zough Arcane Crystals have existed for ages in Midgard, any brior knowledge regarding ze understanding of such gems was long forgotten among Midgardians until recently zanks to White Star Corboration as well as Gibbs Industries. Yet ze creature which attacked your newest trainees is an amalgamation of two very different monsters. Originating from ze Schween and Slavic regions of Midgard. Ze creature is made by Midgardian hands zrough means of magic and science. Zat should not be bossible wiz very little understanding of ze bower of Arcane, Mister Ameranz." The detective finished off as the clear seriousness of their situation was grasped between the two.
"But why are you interested in Tyrik and his companions?" Questioned Drake with a raised eyebrow, "Knowing you. You have a reason to have an interest with them in some way, Mister Sabar." He pressed to the amusement of the Aker in disguise.
"Indeed you are right, Mister Ameranz. However, mind if I request a bint of ze Genesis Beer." Khnem announced with a chuckle, "I will have to admit zat I have acquired a taste for the form of alcohol which Midgardians have crafted over ze ages. Currently, Genesis has been my longest guilty bleasure to date." He finished as Drake couldn't help but laugh as well at this detail as he prepared the drink.
After some time between the Aker and Paladin Warrior, Tyrik was requested by Drake to meet him in Drake's office. Though, Tyrik still was struggling to walk due to his new set of dragon legs. He hadn't reverted to his human form to learn to work with his Draconian Form as it seemed logical that it would be needed for later events. Holding himself against the wall, Tyrik had finally managed to enter Drake's office to be greeted by Khnem sitting in another chair across from Drake's desk. Yet, Tyrik was a bit panicked since this felt like what happens when you're called into the principal's office after a horrible occurrence and will be heavily punished. "... Am I in trouble or something?" Questioned the Mythic Rookie absentmindedly out of fear.
Khnem chuckled briefly before stating, "Zat debends on what will follow in our meeting, Youngling." Khnem gave the timid Tyrik a warm and welcoming smile, allowing him to calm his nerves before making his way to the other chair. Though, Tyrik was very wobbly as he made his way over. Though, Khnem was quite frustrated to have to wait for Tyrik to walk over and flicked his hand into the air.
With that, Tyrik yelped in great pain as his body was forcibly changed back into his human state. "What the Hell!?" Shouted Tyrik in anger yet immediately went tight-lipped upon feeling the murderous mana pulsing from Khonsu. Swiftly, Tyrik sat down on the chair and did his best to avert the glare that came from Khonsu.
"Better not ever take zat tone with me in ze future, Youngling. I do not tolerate disrespect in any form. Even from naive younglings such as yourself." Khnem advised as he readjusted himself in the chair in which he rested. "Now, onto ze reasons why you were called. First and foremost, I am one of ze members of Ze Ezereal Council as well as a founder member, Khonsu." Began the Aker as Tyrik was now a bit terrified upon learning he was before a god, though he did not know who Khonsu was within the stories of Human myth.
"I am sorry to interrupt... But I do not know who you are, Mister Khonsu..." Tyrik fearfully announced with a cold sweat while scratching his right cheek as a nervous tick.
Though, Khonsu expressed a sense of understanding rather than being offended by this honesty. "It is quite understandable, Youngling. Not many records go into my origins or stories among Midgard. I come from ze stories of Egybtian Myzology. I am ze brozer of Ra, Aker of ze Sun. I served once as ze aspect of Midgard's Moon, as my brozer did for ze sun. However, we boz have given our roles to ozer Divine time and time again. Ze current one who governs Midgard's Sun would be the Japanese Divine, Amaterasu. While ze current Divine who governs ze moon would be Artemis." Explained Khnem with a calm voice to Tyrik's surprise. "However, I am not here to give you a history lesson, Youngling. I am here to discuss anozer matter entailing your search to find your mozer and ze Schween Woman's sister." Explained the Egyptian P.I. with a small movement of his hand.
Tyrik blinked a few times as if he was trying to register what the Aker had just told him. "May I ask why?" He asked with a very timid and nervous tone in his voice, yanking at his shirt's collar to let more air into his body.
Though, Khnem simply chuckled at Tyrik's reaction as he held up a hand to suggest there was nothing to worry about. "Zere is nothing to worry about, Youngling. At least from me and Ze Ezereal Council zat is." He explained as his expression began to show the importance of what is soon to be said, "However, I can not say ze same for who created ze Monster which has been hunting you and your companions. Zat is where our conversation lays." Khnem explained as he folded his hands upon his lap in a triangular fashion. Ready to strike a deal with the Mythic Rookie as Tyrik remained silent in the desire to absorb all the information that will be laid out. "I have a brobosal for you and ze bursuit in unraveling ze mystery zeir disabbearance. Yet, I can already determine zat zere are forces zat stand between you and your goal. When Hades told about zat creatures that abbeared in Ze Redwood National Forest, no one among Ze Council could figure out how and why such a monster had come to be." Khnem elaborated further as Tyrik began to see where this was heading.
"Are you gonna ask that my friends and I act as your eyes and ears regarding this detail?" Tyrik questioned as he began to relax, no longer feeling tense around the powerful Aker.
Khnem nodded in confirmation, "Correct and serve as a group of individuals zat will handle broblems regarding any and all Mythics or Monsters zat I will bresent to you. Or any which your combany may come across." Khnem declared before smiling at Tyrik.
"Like the show Supernatural on CW?" Questioned Tyrik as he was quite intrigued by the offer's details so far. "Haven't really watched the series, but I have seen an episode or two before." He went into further detail as Khnem nodded about his analogy.
"I have seen ze show myself and it is a good description to utilize if you need to." The Aker responded before moving on, "In return, I will provide you and your friends brotection from greater zreats from Myzics and Divine alike. After all, I doubt zat bounty on ze Dark Elf will be ze only zing which will bring forth botenial dangers on your journey." He finished as Tyrik thought over the offer. Having a being like Khonsu would be quite helpful with his efforts and there is no telling what beings he would come across and the power that they held. With these thoughts in his mind, Tyrik immediately accepted the generous offer with a handshake.
