"Didn't you hear when Eve said that as long as I am with her I will always be safe?" Giavanna asked, deliberately stressing the SAFE for a reason best known to her.
"Of course I did and I would be happy if she doesn't do the exact opposite," Zeus mumbled but loud enough for Eve to hear.
"Don't say that. Eve would never do such a thing. Before the misfortune that befell me, Eve and I were very close. She might have been Xand's cousin but people often mistook us for sisters. Am I right, Eve?" Giavanna implored. She tilted her head so that her tender eyeballs were on Eve's face.
"Hmm," Eve shook her head in affirmation.
"See, we were that close. She has been swamped with work ever since I returned. That is why we haven't had the time to hang out and bond like we did in the past…"
"Big Sis, the reporters are waiting. Let's go," Eve cut in abruptly. The expression on her face showed how much she loathed the discussion about the past.
