Reluctantly, he swerved and returned to the bed.
He waited for a few minutes for the tension to die down before he initiated a conversation again.
"So when are you leaving?" Tristan asked meekly.
"Why?" Dominic demanded. He spun and peered at Tristan's face.
"Are you eager to chase me away so you can run to her and continue with your flirts?" He added his fierce glares shot at Tristan.
"You know I am saying this for your sake. And what I am doing is not called flirting but getting to know her…"
"Haven't you already known everything worth knowing about her through your constant tabs on her?" Dominic countered fiercely.
"Yes, I know everything about her. That's why I am going to seize this opportunity and let her get to know about me too. And if I manage to become friends with her, that would be seen as a breakthrough…"
