"Who... who are you?!" My voice barely comes out as a whisper and my whole body is trembling in fear. I moved back a little in the sudden fear that took over my body seeing his presence. He pressed his sword against my neck harder than before.
My body froze seeing his response and I could tell that he was warning me not to move. I closed my eyes hard and took a long breath, trying to calm my fear, and opened my eyes to face him now.
I collected myself and asked without letting my voice shiver, just like Princess taught me, "Fine, I won't move and answer your questions, so can you take back your sword?".
He stared at my face and searched for something in my eyes for a few seconds before pulling it a little back and shaking his head.
I assume he didn't want to move his sword from my neck. I stared back at his eyes, trying to read what he wanted now, but I couldn't find anything, so I asked again, "Why are you here? And why is your sword against my neck?".
He pushed his sword deeper into my neck again to the point it was almost touching me. His deep green eyes got harder in anger. I forced the lump down my throat and asked my other question, "Is it because of the words that I was just shouting?".
He nodded his head, still staring into my eyes with anger, but didn't open his mouth to say anything. Let me assume that he can't speak or is not willing to speak with me.
"Is it wrong?" I asked with my straight face, not wanting to show him my fear even though I was getting scared that I did something that I shouldn't do when things were not going in the right direction.
He nodded again, and I could feel his eyes that didn't forgive me so I tried to think of another way to forgive him without asking for forgiveness. As a princess, I should ask for anyone's forgiveness.
"But I am a guest right now. Does it still count?" I asked in fear, so desperate to get out of this situation.
He scuffed and nodded his head like I was joking, pushing his sword even further. I gulped, moving back a little, and asked, "I am going to be His Highness Alpha King's concubine. I even heard that I was going to be his last concubine. Does it still count?".
I am so desperate to get this sword away from my neck, so I am telling everything that I know. Even if I don't know, this might get me out of the problems that I caused.
He shook his head but moved his sword a little further from my neck and before I could take a breath. He swayed his sword just a little further from my neck.
My eyes widened in shock as I stared into his devil-like eyes, which strangely resembled the eyes of the Alpha King. Does all the werewolves have these strange eyes that could make me tremble before them?
He brought his cold sword under my chin and made me look at his eyes as I asked him "Do.... Do you wanna kill me now?".
He shook his head but still stared at me with those intimidating green eyes. And I guessed the next answer that I thought of "So is this punishable to death?".
He nodded his head, making me freeze, and I finally understood the seriousness of the mistake that I brought upon myself.
"I am really sorry. I won't do that again. Will you please let me go? " I finally asked, trying my last straw even though I shouldn't apologize to anyone. I felt his sword leave my chin as he took it away from me. It shocked me as I raised my eyes to him.
He tugged his sword back on his suit, making me take a breath finally. His eyes stared into mine as he walked towards me. I flinched a little thinking he might do something, but he bent down and sat down next to me, dipping his legs in the river like nothing happened.
It totally left me in shock, as I didn't expect this reaction from him. I took a deep breath, calmed myself, and asked, "So you are forgiving me?".
He nodded his head and turned to look at me, placing his forefinger on his lips.
"You don't want me to say these things again?" I asked in confusion, trying to find what he was saying.
He nodded his head and again placed his fingers on his lips. As I stared at them for a few seconds and asked, "So you want me not to say this to anyone?".
He nodded his head again, turning his head back to look at the view in front of us, leaving me in shock and confusion.
I seriously wanna run from him as I was still scared but was stopped by the beautiful view in front of me. I saw the 3 moons rising from the darkness and the 2 beautiful suns setting down, and everything was in the same place.
I sat there, forgetting everything that happened just a few minutes, and started to enjoy the view, whispering "It's so beautiful".
He nodded his head and raised his hand, trying to catch everything in his palm. I smiled seeing that and said, "You can't do that! No matter how hard we try, we can never control nature. All we need to do is go along with them".
His eyes turned to me in a questioning manner as I said "Just like how we understood that werewolves are stronger than humans.... nature made you guys stranger for a reason and made us weaker for a reason. No matter how hard we try, I am sure that we can never find it".
He stared into my eyes for a few seconds and nodded his head. I smiled and turned back to look at the beautiful view. He stared at me for a few seconds before doing the same.
We sat there for a few more minutes until the 2 suns disappeared and the 3 moons went to thier position to shine brightly to give us thier beautiful light.
"Princess Elendra! Where are you?!" I heard very worried Lily's voice as I finally remembered that I didn't tell her anything before I left so she must be worried about me.
The soldier sitting next to me, got up and I tried to get up but my legs got numb from sitting here for a long.
He gave his took out his whole sword without removing the cover, making me flinch a little but I compressed myself and stared into him, anticipating his next move.
He gave his other side to me and I took it as he tried to lift me up, giving me the support. I nodded my head and tried to get up and this time, I did it.
"Thank you," I whispered, standing on my leg. I waited a few minutes before walking and I turned to look at the empty spot where the soldier was standing a few seconds ago, as I saw Lilly walking towards me.
