The clouds parted like a heavy curtain, reluctantly giving way to a view that left me breathless. There it lay, the magnificent city of Aiyaka, hidden beneath a shroud of thick fog and biting cold. I peered over the edge of our flying cabin, my eyes widening as they took in the nearly monochromatic landscape, filled with beings of various classes and races, all adorned in winter clothing.
The city seemed to be carved from ice, shimmering crystal-like structures everywhere, wood and stone a rarity. The buildings glinted in the pale light, the sound of the cold air a relentless symphony, as if the city itself were singing a song of frost and magic.
"Look there, Max, Illyanna, Lucianna," my mother, Laussinna, exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement as she pointed to the crystal edifices. "See how they glow?"
"Glow?" Lucianna asked, her eyes fixed on the mesmerizing sight. Her voice carried a tone of wonder, mixed with curiosity.
