Chapter 12 - A Shocking Revelation

Jorgen returned home with a dizzy and muddled head. The excitement he felt when he first learned about Gothalo had completely disappeared. Now, he had no concept of which of the Van Cleef brothers existed or not.

He tried to find connections between the victims from other angles. Obviously, Elin could not be the fifth person Nico mentioned. So why did the murderer attack him?

He made a table that included information about the three deceased and Nicole Langston. After thinking about it, he added Elin Tias's name.

This was not inspiration or accident. When he arranged these names in the order they were attacked, he found something.

Oliver

Raiden

Graham

Elling

Nicole

He hadn't felt fear for a long time. But now, a lingering shudder like a cold snake slowly crawled up his spine.

He placed the "J" letter that Erin said was engraved on the murderer's knife before the initials of these names:

J

O

R

G

E

N

Jorgen (Jorgen)

"This makes no sense at all," Jorgen said to himself, "This has nothing to do with me."

He suddenly felt dizzy and went to the window to pour a glass of water. At that moment, a strong arm smashed through the window, grabbed Jorgen by the neck, and then slammed his head against the window sill. The force was so great that Jorgen had no time to react, and the table against the window frame rattled loudly.

Before he could feel the pain, his consciousness sank into darkness.
