"Hey."
Belle peeled her eyes from the monitor screen when someone knocked on her desk. She turned her head to see Heaven standing on her side with a big smile.
"It's lunchtime," said Heaven. "Want to eat together?"
"Uh…" Hesitation crossed Belle's eyes before she forced a smile. "Sure. Give me five minutes. I'll just submit this document."
"Sure."
Heaven nodded while Belle resumed her work. She studied the latter for a while before a shallow breath slipped past her lips.
'Even Belle feels a little awkward. I wonder what happened?' Heaven mentally shrugged as she walked back to her desk. She simply sat there with nothing else to do because everyone was treating her like their literal boss. Even Mister Yang wasn't yelling her name for some errands.
If Heaven had a more spare conscience, she would feel sorry for Axel. She hadn't been doing anything and yet, she was being paid.
