Ram sat quietly in a wooden chair, wearing a solemn yet sharp look on his face. His eyes were fixed on the injured man sitting up on the bed. Even though the bruises on the latter's face didn't look as bad with a deep cut on the side of his lips, he could tell Dragon was badly injured.
One of the things Dragon hated the most, even during his time in the Reapers, was appearing vulnerable to others. But for him to accept Ram's visit in such a state, only meant Ram did a winning gamble in coming in here himself.
"You got the hell of a nerve to come here on your own, Ram," Dragon hissed, wincing a little as he held his side. "You know I can order to kill you now, considering your betrayal."
"I didn't betray you."
"You didn't?"
