Heaven reclined in her chair, engrossed in the voices playing through her earphones.
"Who's this?"
"It's me!"
"You need to say more than that for me to know who you are."

Heaven held her breath at the familiar voice, recognizing it as the constant companion of her life.
"Hello?" The man in the conversation was Leo. "Are you still there? Is this a prank call? Ouch."
"Hello? Are you still there?" he called again, confusion evident in his voice at the sudden quietness.
A prolonged silence followed before the woman spoke again, addressing someone else.
"What are you doing here?"
"Who?"
"Because I missed you."
Heaven felt a sudden shock as another voice from the same line reached her ears. The voice was faint, but unmistakable — Dragon.
"That damn fool," she muttered, pinching the bridge of her nose in distress.
