There was a reason Dominic wasn't worried about his 'missing' wife. If his wife was missing, that meant she wasn't really missing. Even as a child, his wife would snoop around in places she shouldn't, leading her into dangerous scenarios where she would come out perfectly fine.
If Hera could do that as a child, then what more as a grown-up? Moreover, if this situation was truly an emergency, then Gray wouldn't be idling outside the department. Even so, Dominic was curious. This was the first time his wife visited the company, and thus, he was curious about what she was doing.
