Heaven had never been so bewildered in her life with just two words. It was so ridiculously idiotic that she somehow doubted her ears.

"Heaven." Heaven flinched when Leo suddenly grabbed her biceps, holding her still with his eyes blazing with determination. "I know what I said sounds crazy, but I don't know what to do anymore."
His grip around her biceps tightened as pain dominated his face. "Dominic Zhu is a powerful man, and I know he is not someone to offend. However... I can't sleep at night thinking how you were suffering every single day."
"If you don't love me anymore, that's fine. I understand," he continued under his breath, carrying the sincerest look plastered on his face. "But let me help you."
