"Dom. What if I tell you I am not Heaven Liu, but someone else?"
Dominic blinked ever so tenderly, assessing the look on her face she was making. Heaven appeared undoubtedly serious, making it hard for him to believe she was joking.
"Are you?" he returned the question in a calm baritone.
A shallow breath escaped Heaven. "Can't you just answer?" she asked helplessly. "I just... want to know."
"You want to hear my thoughts that my wife is actually someone else?"
"Yes." Heaven nodded, moving closer to him enthusiastically. "I mean, my face and body are the same. But the soul is someone else."
"Ah."
"So?" Her brows rose, eyes twinkling with anticipation. "What if I am actually a different soul inside your wife's body?"
"That doesn't make any sense."
