"How did the meeting go?" Ivy came up from Dominic's side as soon as the man left the conference room. "Good?"
Dominic didn't answer, but instead glanced at her. "You are okay."
"Hmm?"
"I didn't mention it earlier because I had a lot of things to settle, but now…" he slowly peeled his eyes from her. "He hadn't called?"
"Oh, that's what you want to ask?"
"Don't pretend you are surprised."
"I'm trying to be professional and not talk about my personal affairs."
"But you always meddle with my personal affairs."
"It's my job to meddle with your life." She raised her brows briefly, smiling. "You're not a businessman anymore, Dom. You're a minister. Your public image is one of my tasks aside from arranging your meetings and organizing your schedule. It won't be a stretch to call me your work wife."
