"No one comes in here and gets out without Hera's permission. I forgot to tell you that when I invited you in."

The men that came along with Ulysses immediately shifted their guns in Ram's direction. However, neither of them pulled the trigger as the young man raised a hand. Ulysses kept his eyes on Ram's figure, unfazed by the fire and smoke outside or the weapons pointed in his direction.

"Put down your guns," said Ulysses, keeping his eyes on Ram's. "Doing that will not change a thing."

"Young Master," one of the guards called, his expression sour.

"I came here with as little guards as possible, knowing I am risking my life by doing so," Ulysses remarked solemnly, his kind and friendly smile gone. "I did so to show my sincerity to Hera. If she couldn't see that, then I'm aware death awaits the three of us."

The young man breathed out, resting his hand on the armrest. "Don't you dare meddle with my resolve."
