"We don't have so much time," Gray remarked as he peeked through the door, checking if there was anyone outside. When she made sure no one was coming, he closed it carefully and locked it. He turned his head to the crib.
Standing beside the crib was Hera, looking down at the beautiful and chubby baby in it. Soft giggles echoed in the playroom as Miracle reached for the person standing by her crib.
"She's not crying," Hera whispered, erecting her index to let Miracle hold it. "And she also has a very strong grip."
The panic swelling up in Gray's heart slowly disappeared, watching Hera play with her daughter. He sighed deeply, leaning his back against the door. When Hera and Sebastian parted, Gray followed her to the fire exit. He wasn't surprised when she suddenly asked him for a favor. In fact, he sort of expected that she would ask him to help her see Miracle.
Which explained the situation.
