"The doctors said you're recovering really fast…" Dragon approached the corner stand, pouring himself a glass of whiskey. "... they said you'd wake up anytime soon."
A scoff slipped past his lips, picking up the glass and turning to face her bed. "It's funny that I heard the same thing before. I still remember what I felt when they told me you would get better. I was overjoyed. But now, I only have one thing in mind."
"Will you wake up anytime soon?" he sauntered to the window and stood in front of it. "Or did you already wake up and you're just pretending to be asleep?"
He opened the window, letting the night breeze brush past his face. The bruises on his face lightened and, based on his complexion, he was recovering from his other injuries well. Thanks to the fast technology and the drugs he had been funding even during his time in the Reapers.
