Seeing Gu Pei in high spirits after the exam, Gu Yang asked, "How did it go, Brother?"
"Not bad," Gu Pei replied confidently. "The College Entrance Examination here was pretty easy—much simpler than last year's in Jin City."
With Gu Yang and the others scoring full marks, Gu Pei wasn't content with merely getting into Hua University or Capital University. He aimed for the highest possible score, so he had been studying intensely. Now that the exam was over, he found himself suddenly relaxed, though he wasn't quite used to it.
Gu Pei plugged in his phone to charge and then called Gu Yang. "Sister, are you up for some gaming? I can join you."
Though Gu Yang wasn't particularly fond of games and had come to terms with her lack of skill after a few tries, she had some free time now and agreed to play with Gu Pei.
