"What happened? Tell me. Have you heard from Laura?" Robin asked all at once.
Jacob spoke with remorse, saying, "I wasn't able to get a better agent than Julius to back up Laura and Mom's condition kept deteriorating," he revealed bitterly, adding,
"She said that she knew her time had come and didn't want to go to the hospital."
Jacob sighed. "Then she also said I should just be by her side and that was exactly what I did."
Robin understood what his twin brother was feeling, as it was the same thing he felt when their parents died.
He knew that words would not be enough to ease the pain but still comforted his brother the best way he could.
"Then yesterday in the wee hours of the morning, I was sleeping on the couch in her room and could foresee that her condition was getting worse. She wasn't breathing well and her inhaler wasn't helping like before," Jacob continued to narrate the full story with Robin giving his complete attention.
