Sabrina understood what Robin's question implied, but she couldn't bring herself to feel guilty for not being the person he thought she was.
Curiosity got the better of her, and she asked him, "Do you want me to let her go?"
Robin pursed his lips, deep in thought. The question, coupled with its serious undertone, left him a bit confused. He couldn't tell if it was meant rhetorically or not.
After some thought,
"I realized that you've always been too kind. I was afraid that you might forgive her," Robin explained, and Sabrina finally understood.
