Sabrina took pity on him and wanted to accept the invitation to dance again but then, when she remembered how Robin did not blink when she asked for the divorce and agreed to it because of Zayla, her heart hardened.
"I don't feel like dancing."
Robin's heart dropped into his stomach. Opportunities like this were like once in a lifetime. He would not be able to get it again unless there was another event that was not business because, at that venture, Sabrina would be too busy to honor it. This was his only chance and he did not want to miss it.
"Please, just this once. For the sake of our little bond," Robin pleaded helplessly, pointing to her stomach. The dress she wore hid her pregnancy well so that little bump did not show at all.
Sabrina did not want anyone to see her dancing with her ex-husband but from Robin's insistence on it, she was afraid that he would continue asking.
"Just this once."
