"Ahh..." Lingling's soft groan slipped from the car as Wang Xiao slammed the door shut, leaving the two spent women inside. A gust of wind swept over him, magically cleansing his body, leaving him as fresh as if nothing had happened.
His clothes shifted into pristine condition, like he hadn't just spent the last hour using that car for far more than transportation.
"Well, that's convenient," he muttered with a smirk, glancing down at his newly donned attire. He cracked his neck, as he hummed his way back toward the party.
It was barely 10 p.m., and these high-class shindigs usually dragged on until 2 a.m., at least. Plenty of time for him to stir up more trouble.
As he stepped into the mansion, a bit of chatter caught his ear. "Sick?" Wang Xiao frowned, genuinely confused.
Xin Meifang, quick to fill him in, waved him over. "Rui's back in her room. She said she wasn't feeling well."
