Upon his arrival, a pleasant surprise awaited him—both Deidara and Kisame were not only alive but also in excellent condition. Obito's satisfaction stemmed not from personal concern for them, but rather from the recognition that their continued existence held significant value. In his strategic mind, they could be harnessed in various ways to further his overarching plan.
As Obito retraced his steps, it became evident that Jiryoku had already vacated Amegakure. Jiryoku didn't waste any more time there and left Amegakure.
It took nearly a full day for the Akatsuki to digest and fully process the unfolding events. After this considerable period of reflection, the members convened for an official Akatsuki meeting to deliberate on the recent occurrences.
A notable departure from the usual protocol occurred as Obito, rather than Nagato, assumed the role of the first speaker. Traditionally, Nagato took the lead in initiating discussions as the acknowledged leader of the Akatsuki. Obito articulated, "In the aftermath of our intense encounter with Jiryoku, we now possess a deeper understanding of the formidable power he wields. At this juncture, we find ourselves confronted with only two conceivable options. The first entails acknowledging defeat and opting to disband the Akatsuki. The second alternative involves steadfastly adhering to our original plan, which revolves around the resurrection of the Ten-Tails. By harnessing the immense power of the Ten-Tails, we aim to confront and overcome the formidable adversary that is Jiryoku."
Kisame, with unwavering determination, emphatically stated, "It is absolutely inconceivable for us to entertain the thought of giving up, especially considering the arduous journey we've undertaken in our relentless pursuit to resurrect the Ten-Tails. Once we successfully achieve this crucial step, we can seamlessly redirect our collective efforts towards the execution of a comprehensive and intricately designed strategy. This strategy, in turn, will involve a calculated assault on Konoha, followed by the subsequent capture of the formidable Nine-Tails."

However, the real complexity arises in the capture of the Nine-Tails. Following Konan's statement, a palpable silence descended upon the room, each occupant grappling with the undeniable knowledge of Jiryoku's mercurial temperament. The collective awareness of his unpredictability instilled a sense of hesitancy, rendering the gathered individuals unable to move forward with confidence, as the uncertainty surrounding Jiryoku's next move lingered like an unresolved puzzle.
After a brief but intense period of contemplation, a comprehensive plan began to crystallize in Obito's mind. Rising from his seat, he directed his attention to Nagato with a composed determination, "Nagato, I propose that you collaborate with Kisame and Deidara to embark on the mission of capturing the Eight-Tails. Meanwhile, I believe I have devised a strategic approach to extract the chakra of the Nine-Tails."
Inquisitive, Konan interjected, "Could you shed some light on how you plan to acquire the Nine-Tails' chakra?"
With a measured air of assurance, Obito replied, "You need not worry; I possess my own method for this undertaking." Preferring not to delve into further details, he left the meeting room, his departure marking the initiation of his purposeful pursuit and leaving his companions in anticipation of the unfolding events.
"Very well, then. We will proceed with this plan. Firstly, we'll seal all the remaining, as yet unsealed, tailed beasts. Following that, we will capture the Eight-Tails and seal it in one decisive move," declared the 'Deva Path.'
Everyone nodded in agreement. Subsequently, with the conclusion of 'Deva Path's' words, the meeting reached its end, and all attendees departed from the meeting room.
Upon arriving at Nagato's residence, Konan positioned herself in front of Nagato, expressing her concerns, "Nagato, I'm apprehensive about undertaking this mission. I have a foreboding sense that something unfortunate may occur."
Nagato, upon hearing Konan's apprehensions, shook his head and responded, "What worse fate could befall us? Apart from Jiryoku, no one poses a threat to us. Capturing the Eight-Tails shouldn't present significant challenges. There's no need for you to worry."
