CHAPTER 126
IGOR AND GREG arrived at the square where there was the huge bronze statue, cast and created by Sir Eduardo Paolozzi and found nothing. Nothing but something that caught Greg's attention. An elderly man, with a beard that would make Santa Claus jealous, clearly grumpy, was muttering:
— Has something happened, my friend?
The elderly man who was huffing in indignation replied.
'These damn kids don't have the slightest regard for works of art these days.
— What they did?
— Where ever you see, they glued this shit right here to Newton's statue.
Igor knew that poster better than anyone, there was Cicada's cicada symbol and a QR code inserted into it.
— I can take a look at that sheet, sir.
The man held it out and Igor took out his cell phone. He turned on the camera, which switched to a video at the place of origin and they saw the Prince of Wales inside a glass tomb and a countdown with water slowly filling the coffin.
The water was already in his chest.
— We don't have that much time...
Greg took one last look at the old man, but he was already out of sight.
THE ROYAL FAMILY looked at the situation completely scared, after receiving the video that Igor had sent by WhatsApp.
— What are we going to do now?
— We have to find the location and rescue him.
— But how do we do that? We can't put all the police forces into this, it would cause a big riot throughout the city.
When they turned on the television, a live broadcast already reported the fact and showed the Prince of Wales inside a glass coffin, next to a digital clock with a countdown.
