Chapter 14 - CHAPTER 11

CHAPTER 11

URIZEN LOOKED AT THE SEVERAL photos of the dead Abbot Nielsen and posted them on the internet, he knew that from that moment on they would finally be taken seriously, in the past they just posted silly and meaningless riddles to raise some of the brightest minds who had knowledge about codes. They were even investigated, but they didn't have the technology or intelligence to track them down.

And they still didn't have it... and they won't have it...

But he still needed to do something, it was his main mission, to end the first night...

URIZEN, AS HE WAS CALLED in Cicada, was one of the only three that solved all the proposed challenges to select the most brilliant minds that navigated the TOR network, commonly known in the underworld of the internet as the Deep Web.

And that showed that he was someone reliable for the organization, because the last challenge, or rounds, as they liked to say, demanded it. In the end, only four people passed. If they wanted more picks, they would have to do a few more rounds.

The name chosen for this enigmatic organization, which, on several occasions, has posted a set of puzzles and games of complex alternate reality, was this strange word, which meant cicada in Sudanese. 3301, on the other hand, was a form of anonymity and freedom, a precept defended by the organization since the beginning.

The internet's first puzzle started on January 5, 2012, on the 4chan forum and lasted a month.

Round two began a year later on January 5, 2013, and a third round, following confirmation of a new lead posted on Twitter, on January 5, 2014.

The stated intention was to recruit "highly intelligent individuals" by presenting a series of puzzles that had to be solved, each one in order, to find the next. No new puzzles were posted on January 5, 2015. However, a new puzzle was posted on Twitter on January 5, 2016.

The puzzles were about data security, encryption and steganography , and it was called "the most elaborate and mysterious riddle of the Internet age" and listed, by The Washington Post , as one of the "five biggest unsolved mysteries of the internet", with much speculation as to its purpose.

Many speculated that the puzzles were a recruitment tool for the US National Security Agency (NSA), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), or a cyber mercenary group. Others have claimed that Cicada 3301 was an alternate reality game , however the fact that no company or individual has claimed the credit or attempted to monetize it, combined with the fact that no known individual who has solved the puzzles has if manifested, have led most to think that this is not the case. Others claimed that it is run by a bank working with a cryptocurrency .

But no one had guessed the plans, only Albion's chosen four.

The Valas...

The last known puzzles became highly complex and individualized as the game unfolded. Anonymous individuals claimed to have won, however verification of the organization was never done and the individuals making the claim were not open to information.

In addition to using many different techniques to encrypt, encode, or hide data, these clues had also referenced a wide variety of books, poetry, artwork, and music. Each clue was signed by the same GnuPG private key , to confirm authenticity.

HIS LIFE OUTSIDE what Christians call hell, born in a poor neighborhood and abandoned by his alcoholic father, he saw his mother fight with all her might to keep him and his sister in the best condition. Years passed and their mother was stricken with a terrible cancer, forcing them to live in an orphanage. When Carine turned sixteen, she started dating a rich young man, she had never said his name, she said she didn't want to spoil everything, even because he had asked for discretion. One night, she just disappeared.

He never stopped looking for his sister. When he made friends with some smart guys who taught him computers and mainly introduced him to Deep Web, managed to discover her whereabouts, in a brothel in Mexico, as a sex slave.

As usual, he made the complaint and there was never any news. After a week, the site went down and his sister was found dead on a beach, supposedly a drowning victim. He never believed that..., one day he would certainly take revenge for her, and one— by— one of those who were part of that dirty game, he would fall.

And that day was about to happen...

URIZEN SAW that some people had already visualized it.

The government will try to mask this, however, they will not be able to...

Within minutes, the photos of the murdered abbot were already on several famous websites.

Urizen smiled with satisfaction as he saw the pictures of the abbot on CNN and the BBC.

The nine night cycle started today and now there is only one thing that can stop us, besides the doomsday itself...
