"Mind Manipulation"
Rei connected his mind and Sikhi's. "Sikhi, can you take him down? At least make him black out for a second. Can you?"
"That's easy. Thousand Hands Bodhisattva...!" Sikhi used one of his signature moves. The sand and rocks from the surroundings combined to form an enormous statue with a thousand hands on the back.
"Qian Shou Guanyin!" Sun got a series of palm attacks.
Sun sunk into the ground about 10 feet.
"Now or Never Rei!" Sikhi shouted at Rei.
"Damon, Release Mara!" Damon turned into a black shadow-like creature with white wings.
"Fascinating! You dare to let me come out from the kid, you sure are something." Mara said to Rei.
"Save the conversation for later. Shoot your every ounce of Dark element on my chest!"
"Yeah Yeah! You asked for it. Then be my pleasure." Mara formed a huge sphere of dark elements and released them toward Rei.
"Arggggg!"Rei sucked all of it. "Ultimate Shadow Domain!"
An even bigger shadow area was formed and both Rei and Sun appeared in the area.
"What an enormous domain!" Mara was speechless looking at the shadow area, "I'm sure even Erebos won't be able to form a physical domain like this."
Sikhi walked behind Mara. "What do you mean a physical domain?"
"Domains, Boundaries. They may seem to be the same things with different names. But they have two things that separate each other apart.
The first thing is that Domains are physical and Boundaries are non-physical. Domains are usually small in size as they use a lot of elements from the surrounding and Life sketch of the user while Boundaries only use a few to form a thin border and can be as huge as the user wants or the user can.
The second thing is that Boundaries are to prevent intruders from coming inside and Domains are the opposite.
But this is the combination of those two." Mara explained.
"Even if Rei did this, this couldn't stop Sun," Sikhi said.
Inside the Domain,
Rei once saw Erebos using something like this in her last timeline but she couldn't believe she could do this.
"Blurg!" Rei vomited a lot of blood. "Using this spell too long would make my Life sketch drain."
Rei saw Sun hitting the domain hard. Being in this shadow domain made him angrier because this domain was created with the dark element of Mara, the god of Dark and Rebellion. Sun went rampage inside the Domian.
As Rei approached Sun, she knew that defeating him required not just physical strength but also a delicate touch. She prepared herself mentally, knowing that she had to subdue him without causing harm.
With a swift motion, Rei swung her scythe toward Sun, directing a surge of energy toward him. The wave of dark energy enveloped his body, attempting to contain his destructive power. But the Monkey King's fury was too strong, causing the energy to ripple and scatter.
Undeterred, Rei pressed on. She deftly dodged Sun's wild strikes. She struck back, using her scythe but the scythe creates ethereal chains that wrapped around Sun, restraining his movements. That surprised Rei, that only Gods of Death can use the ethereal chains.
However, Sun's immense strength tested the limits of Rei's abilities. He thrashed and roared, trying to break free from the ethereal chains. The ground trembled beneath their feet as their clash intensified.
With each blow, Rei sought not to harm Sun, but to redirect his energy and aggression. She skillfully maneuvered around his attacks, channeling her own power to neutralize his strikes. It was a delicate dance between aggression and restraint, where every move she made was calculated to subdue rather than harm.
As the battle raged on, Rei's determination grew. She could sense the flickers of consciousness within Sun's raging spirit, his true self struggling to break free from the grip of the fury of the Holy element upon the Dark element.
Holy Element is peaceful on its own, supporting Life Sketch but gets really furious on contact with Dark Element and Death Command.
Rei channeled her power into a concentrated burst of energy with one final, decisive strike. It surged through Sun's body, disrupting the chaotic energy within him. Sun's violent thrashing ceased, and his unconscious form began to float gently toward the ground.
Then Rei vomited more blood. She terminated the use of Ultimate Domain. She carried the passed-out Sun and walked toward the rest. Rei saw Damon pass out after Mara went back into him.
"Are you guys alright?" Rei put down Sun gently. Looked at everyone. Rei felt delighted to meet everyone again. Not long after that Rei's vision got blurry and blacked out.
The Grim Reaper, Rei fell into the abyss. She knew she wasn't dead because Celeste, the goddess of death wasn't here. She heard a strange voice speaking to her. " How's your life right now? You like it this way, right? I like it too but if this goes on, this is going to be boring. But it's ok, I'll fix this for you. " She could only hear the voice but she could feel a wicked smile behind the voice.
" Rei! Rei! Wake Up!" Sun was crying out loud. "It's all my fault. I did this to you. Because of me. Uwaaaaaaaaa!"
Rei got up. Sikhi gestured to keep quiet.
" This didn't happen in the last timeline. You shouldn't die yet. You have to survive and end the Leviathan. You still have to save all of us from them. " Sun cried his heart out.
Rei slowly walked behind Sun and put her hand on his shoulder. " It's been decades since we first met, you're still a kid from that time. Well, I'm younger right now. I'm glad that we all get to meet again. I'm motivated just by seeing you guys. And don't you worry? I'll end Leviathan for me, for you, and for all the Nethorians."
Sikhi burst out his laughter on Sun. Sun got blushed and chased Sikhi with his Jingu Bang. Rei turned to Cratos and Damon. Cratos nodded and Damon woke up from his passed out.
They all gazed upon the sun setting slowly into the mountains of the east. Their journey had already started.
The glass ball from the basement of Plutonia's Castle cracked a little bit. "Yes! Yes! Just a little more. Just some more. Leviathan! Just you wait. Hahaha Hahahaha"
