"It's nice to meet you" Sloane said to the man. He had dark brown hair and grey eyes with a tall statue and a muscular frame.
"Boy did you grow into a beauty" the man mumbled as he took a quick glance at her. He didn't look to be any older than twenty-five.
"Do you two know each other, Eric?" Jake asked
"You wouldn't understand even if I told you" Eric said
"It's fine. You can tell him" Sloane said as she walked into the house "At this moment, it doesn't matter who finds out. I'd just like to speak with the Mayor and proceed with my plans" she sat on a chair in the living room
"Your Majesty, the Princess Sloane" an old man called out to her and she turned to look at him. He looked frail as he coughed a bit before Eric helped him to sit
'Did he just call her a princess?' Jake wondered
"I'll be in the kitchen with Jake. If you need me" Eric said as he dragged the confused Jake with him and left
"You probably don't remember me, but my name is Rufus Caesar" Caesar introduced "I guess that, the fact that you're here, has something to do with the contract"
"I'm glad I don't have to explain myself. Shall we talk more about this?" Sloane asked

In the kitchen of the Mayor's house
"Dude, what the hell is going on?" Jake asked "Why did your grandad call Sloane, princess? And why are you behaving so weird?"
"You ask more questions than my girlfriend" Eric sighed
"Your girlfriend doesn't ask many questions and that's because she's deaf" Jake pointed out "Now, can you explain to me what the hell is going on?"
"As you've heard, Sloane Michelle is an actual princess" Eric said
"Priya left with her because she is a princess?" Jake asked
"Huh?" Eric said
"Priya Rodrik, my half-sister, yeah, she came to my house a few days ago to pick up her mother's stuff with a strikingly handsome, blue eyed guy" Jake said "My other sister, said she saw Priya and that blue eyed guy, get into a luxury car with Sloane and some other guy, before leaving town"
"Okay. So, you're telling me your half-sister happily moved in with werewolves, and Sloane, who is a tribrid, in full, the princess and future queen of all werewolves, vampires and witches?" Eric asked
"Yes" Jake replied without hesitation. However, he then realized the question he was just asked and instinctively covered his mouth "Oh my God" he mumbled "You just let a demon into your house"
"We have a deal with them" Eric said calmly "They won't harm us"
"D-deal?" Jake repeated "You made a f*cking deal with them? With monsters?"
"We signed a contract for the safety of the people living in this town" Eric said "My ancestors made a deal with them in exchange for us to live in this place without trouble....since this land was originally theirs"
"Excuse me?"
"Over two hundred years ago, our ancestors settled down on this land, that they had mysteriously stumbled upon" Eric said "The place was beautiful and magic filled the air. They didn't have any money so, they thought they might as well inhibit this place. However, after crossing paths with our neighbors, the demons, more times than we could count, my ancestors decided to make a deal with them for the safety of the people here"
"What was the deal?"
"The demons will not disturb the lives of the townspeople by living in the forests and they will also stop other demons from crossing into this world. While, the humans are prohibited from entering the forests and if they one day decided to leave this land, all of their memories of this place with be altered. In short, once a person leaves Greenwood Springs, they'll never be able to come back because they won't remember anything" Eric said "Not even how they got here"
"This is crazy"
"Each Mayor has the task of signing this contract with whichever representative choosen by the demons" Eric said

Meanwhile
"You want to cancel the contract?" Caesar asked
"Humans, belong in the human world, surrounded by humans" Sloane said "Not, being human, in the human world, surrounded by predatory demons"
"I know your heart is in the right place, but-"
"Truth is, the civil war is now knocking on the gates of the town" Sloane said "I am not just thinking about the lives of those here in Greenwood, but also my people"
"I see"
"I'm glad you understand. I can't have magic blasts, blowing up human body parts everywhere. It would be total chaos in this upcoming war" Sloane said "By cancelling the contract, the humans in Greenwood can finally live normal lives and forget about my kind"
"You're so young. Yet you're going to war" Caesar said sadly "What will your kind do after the war?"
"If I finally get crowned as queen, the decision is to move back to the demon world and seal the gates of hell" Sloane said "This world that we lived in side by side, is not ours. Being here constricts our powers, but I guess, it's because we wanted to see a bit of the paradise you humans enjoyed, that we stayed for several hundred years"
"It's about time we also free your kind" Caesar said as he stretched out his leaf arm "Let's cancel the contract"
"Thank you" Sloane said as a silver dagger formed in her right hand and she made a small cut on her left wrist, as well as Caesar's left wrist.
A black mist formed above Caesar's left wrist. It took on the form of paper and several golden words were imprinted on it.
Sloane let her blood drip on the paper as she said, "I, Sloane Michelle, terminate the contract between, Rufus Caesar and my father, Reese Michelle. I hereby, forever terminate any further generational contracts, Reese Michelle might have tied to Rufus Caesar"
The black mist paper immediately began to disappear and the small cut on Sloane's wrist immediately healed.
"After thirty-seven years, I have finally been freed from that contract which plagued my health" Caesar sighed
"This is no time to be celebrating" Sloane said "You and the boys need to head to City Hall, now. This is going to be the second to the last time my kind will help yours"
"I understand" Caesar said as Sloane immediately teleported out of the house. "Eric!!!" the old man shouted as he got out from his chair
"Grandpa?" Eric questioned as he and Jake emerged from the kitchen
"Has the demon gone?" Jake asked
"Sloane has already left. She did however leave a message" Caesar said "We must head to City Hall at once. Everyone in the town is moving there because we have been dragged into her kind's civil war"
"War?" Jake repeated "You mean a battle between monsters is about to go down?"
"Ugh. Yes, child" Caesar said "Shall we get going?"
"I'll grab the car keys, Grandpa" Eric said
"I...I need to inform my family" Jake said nervously as he quickly ran out of the house
"This is going to be bloody if the werewolves are taking part" Caesar mumbled as he went back to sitting in the living room

The car with Sloane's clone had come to a stop in front of a rundown building. The streets surrounding the building were lonely and not in the least bit looked safe as several people in haggard clothing seemed to be running away from something.
"The original me seems to have finished with her business" Sloane's clone said as she got out of the car and approached the house on foot
"Really? Does that mean we can start the mission?" Kayden asked as he and Mackenzie got out of the car, with the driver and another werewolf
"Mum has given the go ahead to catch the devil" Mackenzie said as she stared at the house "Though, I must ask...why do all the interesting things have to be hidden in creepy places" she said as she, Kayden and the other two werewolves followed behind Sloane's clone.
Once inside, they could all feel two powers clashing with each other.
"As the original me thought, the devil came straight here" Sloane's clone smiled "But this power isn't something you guys can handle. Wait here while I go greet our guest" her hands set ablaze in blue flames as she immediately teleported from in front of them
"I thought she wasn't as strong as your real mum" Kayden said
"My mum and dad haven't used their full strength since we came back from the spirit world" Mackenzie said as she walked ahead of them and her eyes glowed in a yellow light "This world limits the full capabilities of what demons can do" she shrugged "I know my parents are strong but how strong are they...I don't know. Anyways, follow me"
"But her Majesty's clone told us to wait" the driver said with a wry smile
"She's already done" Mackenzie said as she took Kayden's hand and continued ahead "I'm not stupid enough to throw those around me into danger" she pointed down the hallway of the house "Come. She went this way"
The two werewolves looked at each other, before sighing and following Mackenzie and Kayden.
Taking the stairs down to the basement, the scenery went from your everyday rundown, abandoned building, to a haunted house.
The smell of burning devil flesh which they had all gotten accustomed to, entered their nostrils as they reached the basement floor.
The basement was a disaster. There were blood streaks on the walls and four dead bodies each plastered to the wall as though their bodies were always part of the wall. Several silver spears were pushed right through them as blue flames spread out from the tips of the spears, burning the bodies. However, the thing responsible for this work of art, was unharmed and had not a single drop of blood on her as she checked to see if the mechanism was still active.
"See, told you there was nothing to worry about" Mackenzie said as her eyes reverted back to normal
"It looks like the mechanism only has little energy left" Kayden said as he let go of Mackenzie's hand and rushed to stand next to Sloane's clone
At the centre of the basement, was a large tube with a floating small purple orb at the centre. Several wires were connected to the mechanism at the top part of the ceiling.
"It's been several hundred of years since it was last charged with the magic of your family and a mage" Sloane's clone said "And I thought I told you two to stay back with the butlers" she said as she glanced at Mackenzie
"I trust my mother to understand my reasons" Mackenzie said "Sooner or later we'll all be heading into war and I'll have to be by you and Dad's side because that's the safest. However, you yourself know that you can't protect me from horrible sights like these forever"
Sloane's clone shook her head as she heaved out a sigh, "The devils have been taken care of, so there's no need for me to be here again" she said as her body began to disappear "You four just have to await orders" she said as she completely disappeared
