Nathan clenched his fists after hearing the full story and the cold look in his eyes seemed to disappear
"Is there another way to get to the Spirit King's Library?" Nathan asked as Rielle continued to search through Norman's memories
"I don't think you need to do that" Rielle said
"My mother's life is on the line here" Mackenzie said
"And even if you were to go, you'd only make matters worse" Dante said "Demons and people like me who were cursed can't get close to her. And by her, I'm taking into account that gigantic zone of hers" he added as he knocked out Norman and Owen while the two men fell to the floor "Then, there's the problem with the war and these guys who need their memories replaced so they can be sent back to Greenwood Springs"
"It's like trouble is all that exists today" Zoe said
"Rielle probably has another reason for what she said" Virginia said
"I do" Rielle said as a screen appeared next to her "Take a look at this" she said and all of Norman's memories related to Kathy and Xavier played. At the ending of the video, Nathan became calmer
"Demon General Xavier?" Allen repeated "Weren't all the demon generals wiped out?"
"I'm not sure" Timothy said "I was at the heart of the civil war but due to the clashes and magic power going around, I couldn't really see much but what I do know is, there are twelve demon generals. The name Kathy and Xavier is familiar among the werewolves but even those at the capital don't know them so, they're probably the demon generals who served under Vampire Queen Hailey"
"That would mean she is the demon general who is friends with Queen Hailey" Fernanda said
"Another thing is...Kathy knows the Connor family and said she abandoned Elias who was her son with Mickey's dad" Alexa said "Elias is Mickey's cousin from her dad's side. In short, Kathy is Mickey's aunt meaning, she is a Connor"
"She also mentioned something about needing to store magic for Sloane. Which means she most likely knows the ritual" Nathan said before looking up at the sky "So Sloane will be able to see us soon"
"If she doesn't get better, or the ritual fails, we'll lose her" Clark said "The only thing is to wait for the results" as he said that, Priya stared at the key in her palm and clenched it
'Sloane, please be safe. Everyone's waiting'

Beginning And End Library
Underground training room
"What a pain. She's even stronger than Reese" Xavier said as he stared at Sloane who was in his arms knocked out while Kathy was drawing a large magic semicircle with her blood in a large square on one side, while a spirit the height of an adult man was on the other side drawing the other part of the semi circle
"Are you sure you know the ritual?" the spirit drawing the other half asked. He was dressed in a sky blue robe with gold trimmings. His white long hair was pulled back in a ponytail, his pointed ears weren't hidden at all and his gold eyes were a sight to behold. He was the third strongest spirit, Hyacinth. "You were quite brutal with the Princess" he continued
"If we didn't fight with intention to kill, she would have killed us" Kathy said as she glanced at her left arm which had scorch marks on them and was seriously bleeding
"You do have a point" Hyacinth said as he looked around the destroyed training room and then at her arm "I'll treat that after you're done drawing the other half of the circle. We do need the blood"
"I wonder if the Princess is fine" Pint said as she hovered just above Sloane's face
"You're wondering if she's fine?" Xavier asked "Are you paying attention to the condition of the room we're in? If not for my barrier, this place would have collapsed on us. Speaking of condition, my body is battered and she dares to sleep so peacefully"
"The Princess has problems sleeping due to her body's condition. Being knocked out is the only way she can sleep peacefully without Prince Nathan or Princess Kenzie, present" Fox said and Xavier looked at Sloane again
"She looks slightly like Queen Hailey" Xavier said with a smile
"Xavier, it's time" Kathy said and Xavier raised up his head to see that the circle had been completed and Hyacinth had just finished healing Kathy's arm
"You six should get into position" Hyacinth said while heading back to his side of the circle while Xavier walked over to drop Sloane at the center of the circle. "Don't step on the blood. You can use telekinesis to move her into position" he said
"You don't need to tell me" Xavier said "Kathy already informed me beforehand" just outside the square, he let go of Sloane and used his magic to control and drop her at the center of the circle before getting back and increasing the density of his barrier while Kathy took her position directly opposite Hyacinth, and the other spirits placed their hands on Hyacinth's back
"The preparations are complete. Let's begin" Kathy said as she and Hyacinth formed a triangle with their hands before gathering their magic towards the center of the space between their hands
"Ready?" Hyacinth asked and everyone nodded "This might take us three days and the balance and sequence must be the same without faltering"
"I know" Kathy said "There should be no mess up"

Earlier
When Xavier and Kathy passed through the the exit of the spirit world gate, they found themselves in a very large library that didn't seem to have an end. They had found themselves in the Beginning And End Library
"Where are we?" Xavier asked
"I don't know" Kathy said "I wanted us to return back to the cell I was being kept but then, I thought of the Princess while holding the doorknob so..."
"It probably took us to her" Xavier said
"I'm not sure" Kathy said
"Anyways, let's look around for an exit or for the Princess"
"Got-" Kathy's sentence was interrupted by the sudden burst of magical energy which shook the whole library. Then, Kathy caught a whiff of Sloane's scent and smiled. "There's no need to even search" she said
"I can tell. The Princess smells like roses..." Xavier said while sniffing the air "...it's quite calming...and a bit addictive"
"Let's go" Kathy said as they both ran through the library while following Sloane's scent until they came around an area with tables and chairs that had been dusted and cleaned. Continually following the scent, they found a pillar with a hand mould in it and right behind the pillar were stairwells that led down below.
Kathy and Xavier looked at each other before following the stairs down. When they were down, they noticed two people were fighting while there were six floating lights standing to the side. The two people who were fighting were Sloane and Hyacinth.
Hyacinth just barely managed to dodge Sloane's palm which was about to slam into his shoulder as he tried to kick her off balance, she moved her left leg back and right leg forward which made her go down in a split. What Hyacinth noticed was that her leg was in between his and in his current position, she could easily knock him off balance.
'She's even better than James' Kathy thought as she stared at Sloane
Sloane twisted her body a bit and with her two hands on the ground, she moved her left leg in a way she slammed her leg into Hyacinth's waist and sent him flying to the side. Just in time, Hyacinth stopped himself from slamming into the wall but Sloane was already in front of him about to punch his face.
"Princess, I give up" Hyacinth said and Sloane directed her fist to the wall which caused several cracks to appear. Hyacinth glanced to where her fist landed and sighed in relief "If that had hit me, I could have lost a tooth" he said and Sloane removed her fist from the wall as she breathed heavily while steam released from her body "It seems like you'll be entering the final stages soon"
"Tell me something I don't know" Sloane said as she took a few steps back before sitting on her butt "My whole body feels like a furnace and I feel like I'm about to puke my guts"
"Princess Sloane, you're too kind" Hyacinth said, out of nowhere "As a demon it's quite surprising but his Majesty said your predecessors were the same"
"Like I said, tell me something I don't know" Sloane said and he sighed
"You avoided hitting any of my vital organs even though you'll be going into war soon" Hyacinth said "Demons aren't meant to be that kind with their enemies. I feel like the spirit seed his Majesty gave to you, was a mistake as it's made you weak in the eyes of your kind. You avoid killing"
"It's because you're training me right now that I won't kill you" Sloane said as she stood up "However..." she instantly turned to the direction of Xavier and Kathy while two silver lights in the form of spears had appeared in her hands "...when someone I don't know begins to snoop around in my zone while trying to hide their presence, I'm not the type to remain kind" she shouted as she tossed the two spears at lightning speed
Kathy didn't even see it coming as the spear pierced through the skin of her upper arm and sent her flying to the wall before getting lodged in there. Due to the spirit power in the spear, Kathy's arm was in a lot of pain as the spear liquidated and Kathy's arm erupted in blue flames.
"Stand back, Hyacinth" Sloane shouted and Hyacinth sighed before moving away. He knew he couldn't fight because he would have to help with the ritual; nothing could happen to him at such an important moment.
"Kathy" Xavier shouted as he had managed to dodge Sloane's attack with only a little scrap on his shoulder
"I'm fine" Kathy said as she burned Sloane's blue flames with her pink ones. She stared at her arm then looked at Sloane who was frowning 'Her attacks have speed and power. It's scary to think of how much she's grown and all she's been through' she thought
Steam released from Sloane's body and she fell to one knee and went into a coughing spree
"This is my chance' Xavier thought as he moved towards Sloane however, he felt heavy and his whole body slammed into the ground. He slightly looked up and noticed Sloane had one hand directed at him while holding her neck with the other 'She's very strong. She's even stronger than Hailey' he thought as he began to transform except this time, even at four tails, he was still having trouble copping with Sloane's gravity magic especially when Sloane made her zone have the same effects as her spell while keeping Hyacinth and the other spirits safe from the zone's effects.
'Her magic control is crazy' Kathy thought as she noticed what Sloane was doing while the burning pain in her body increased 'Her spirit side is burning me' she thought, until she saw two other tails sprout out from above Xavier's ass and an idea came to mind.
Her eyes glowed and her horns sprouted out along with a very thin black arrow head tail which allowed her to move. She clapped her hands together and a barrier formed around her which redirected the gravity spell to the walls around her
Meanwhile, with the help of Xavier's sixed tailed, he pushed off the floor and ran towards Sloane while ignoring the burning pain he felt. He thought of punching Sloane when he was close enough but, when looking at her innocent face, he couldn't bring himself to punch her and instead gave her a chop on the side of her neck which knocked her out. Simultaneously, all of her spells were cancelled and Xavier cancelled his transformation as he landed on his knees breathing heavily.
Kathy, seeing as everything was over, cancelled the barrier around her and rushed towards Sloane and Xavier
"That...was crazy" Xavier said while panting "Even Hailey's not as strong. I'm gonna need a breather"
"Then take one" Kathy said before touching Sloane whom had steam releasing from her body "Her body's heating up real bad. At this rate, we'll lose her"
"Seriously?" Xavier asked as he sat up "After everything we did to get you here for the ritual"
"You're here for the stabilization of the spirit seed?" Hyacinth asked as he walked over
"Yes. And you are?" Kathy asked
"Hyacinth. The spirit who will be aiding you as your second half" Hyacinth introduced "I can already tell you're a high ranking devil...which is what's needed for this ritual. But do you know how to perform the other part of the ritual?"
"Yes" Kathy said
"Then let's start" Hyacinth said as he bit his thumb and blood was drawn
"Thank you" Kathy said as she looked at Sloane before pushing a strand of hair from Sloane's face "You're gonna be fine now, Princess"
