With two horses dragging the beautifully built and decorated carriage, its wooden axles rolled on the ground, prodding its smooth ride as it drove away from the castle.
Inside the carriage, Rhea and Aylin sat on opposite sides, with Rhea sitting in front of Aylin. Minutes passed, and neither said a word; Aylin found the silence relaxing while Rhea had her eyes closed.
After a few minutes of comforting silence, Rhea opened her eyes and stared straight at Aylin who had her attention on the trees lining the path the carriage drove through. Her thoughts were entwined with everything that went on during lunch with the royal family.
"So..." Rhea started, her curious voice pulling Aylin out of her thoughts, making her tear her gaze away from the window. "What was all that about?"
"What are you talking about?"
"You know what I'm talking about, Aylin," Rhea said, one corner of her lips turning upwards.
