His face turned sad, but he nodded. "You should be ready to see news about your friend. How would you like to know that you are the reason his company shares will drop and people will lose faith in him?"
She stared at him. That was low of him, but she shouldn't have expected much from a cheater. "You wouldn't do that."
"I will do anything to keep you, Mia."
He was crazy. "I don't love you anymore, Jack. You hurt me."
Jack nodded. "I know, Mia. I must have hurt you, and I am sorry. But I also know that what you need is time. You need time to heal from this. You only decided to divorce me because you are angry at me. You are not thinking straight, but I wouldn't let you throw away our years of marriage. We are amazing together. So, I am helping us both.
