Chapter 1 - The beginning

In the world called Earth 3.0, there are many kingdoms, each with its own respective name. Among them, two main kingdoms stand out: The Dream Kingdom and the Nightmare Kingdom, each with four allied kingdoms.

The Dream Kingdom's allies include the Sky Kingdom, the Diamond Kingdom, the Kingdom of Light, and the Kingdom of Nature. Meanwhile, the Nightmare Kingdom is allied with the Fire Kingdom, the Blood Kingdom, the Galaxy Kingdom, and the Corrupted Kingdom.

In the Galaxy Kingdom, the king and queen had just announced that another royal child was soon to be born. The announcement was made for the people to gather near the castle. From the balcony of the castle, the king appeared with a bright smile and declared:

"My people, welcome your future king!"

The queen emerged from the castle holding a baby boy in her arms. The baby had gem-like blue eyes that glowed in the sun, representing his mother, and blonde hair, representing his father. The queen was overjoyed and exchanged a loving look with the king. As they embraced the baby, the priest approached them. The queen and king handed the baby to the priest, who lifted him high into the sky. The entire kingdom bowed as the priest spoke:

"This child's name shall be Neo of the Garcia royal bloodline. Everyone must bring gifts for the baby tomorrow. If you fail to do so, you shall be publicly executed!"

The townspeople were terrified but nodded obediently. They were instructed to return to their homes. The king and queen retreated to the castle, accompanied by the guards. The queen laid the baby down in a cradle and left the room. A dark aura surrounded the baby and exploded, making the baby cry, but he was unharmed. As he grew older, Neo would come to realize that the world around him would change drastically.

Meanwhile, a huge light appeared in a nearby house as another baby was born on the same day.

[Powers Exploring]

As Neo grew into a teenager, he learned to use his family's magic and many other spells, starting with simple nature summoning. One day, Neo was summoned by the king to appear in the throne room. As he entered, he noticed three figures standing there.

The first person wore flashy blue clothing and a large wizard's hat, with long, wavy hair. The second was a woman dressed in a black witch's hat that covered her eyes, paired with a black crop top and tight black shorts. Despite her feminine build, she exuded confidence. The third figure had a calm, almost angelic aura, despite being cloaked in a black robe that hid everything but his mouth and nose. Neo took note of them as he kneeled and bowed his head in respect.

"Good evening, Father. How may I serve you this fine evening?"

The king smiled and replied:

"Good evening, son. Your mother and I have been thinking. Now that you are a teenager, it's time for you to learn about our family history and how to use your magic efficiently, so you can be ready to become the king when the time comes. I've brought you the top three mages just below the head mage. Introduce yourselves, you three!"

The first mage, wearing flashy blue attire, stood up and spoke.

"Good evening, dear prince! My name is Matthews, and it is an honor to be in your presence, my lord."

He bowed his head respectfully. Neo smiled and nodded, acknowledging him. The second mage, a woman, also stood and bowed.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, dear prince. I shall teach you everything I know, my lord. My name is Aisha."

The third mage, hidden beneath a hood and black robe, spoke with a calm, composed voice.

"My name is Jason. It's a pleasure to meet you, my lord. I shall test you after you finish training with these two. I am the strongest of the three, second only to the head mage."

Jason bowed his head as well. Neo nodded but felt a bit unsettled. Jason had the demeanor of an assassin, yet there was something serene and unthreatening about him.

"Nice to meet you all. I'm Neo Garcia, the prince. I'll be in your care," Neo said, smiling and placing his hand on his hip.

The mages nodded in agreement, and the king spoke again:

"Alright, Neo, you will be teleported by these three to the House of Magic, where you will learn everything I mentioned earlier. Go out there and learn as much as you can."

The mages joined hands, and a star made of pure magical energy appeared beneath their feet. Neo marveled at the sight. He waved goodbye to his father, who smiled and waved back as they teleported to the House of Magic.

The House of Magic was a wooden structure that looked more like a treehouse than an actual building. Neo stared at it for a moment before sighing. The mages knocked on the door, which opened a few moments later. Standing in the doorway was the head council member, wearing glasses, with light blue eyes like diamonds, and blue nail polish. Her long hair reached the back of her legs. She studied them briefly before stepping aside to let them in.

Neo couldn't help but admire her beauty, and she noticed him staring for a long time. She walked up to him and flicked him on the head, jolting him awake from his thoughts.

"Pay attention, prince," she said, smiling playfully as she turned to leave.

Neo watched her walk away, taking in her black stockings, buttoned shirt, gray shorts, and black sneakers. He gulped nervously, but before he could dwell on it, Jason grabbed him by the ear.

"My lord, we are here to teach you magic, not to flirt. Now get inside."

Neo winced at the sudden pain but followed the mages inside. As the door closed behind them, Neo looked around in awe.

"It looked so small from the outside. How is it so big now?" he asked, amazed.

Aisha giggled and answered, "My lord, did you really think this place was called the House of Magic just because it contains top-tier mages?"

She smiled and placed her arms behind her back, speaking with a hint of pride. "Well, part of the reason is because we use magic to hide its true size. What matters is not what something looks like on the outside, but your personality and how you treat others."

She turned around with a swirl and began walking, the others following behind. The creaking of the wooden floor filled the silence. As they walked, Neo started to feel anxious, knowing the high expectations placed on him. If he failed, it would bring shame to his father's name and his own.

He glanced around and saw mages using both light and dark magic, casually creating weapons and sending large beams clashing at each other. Matthews noticed his discomfort.

"What's wrong, dear prince? Nervous? Don't be! Nobody will judge you. They're mostly busy inventing mathematical formulas and equations. Go on!"

Matthews flashed a big smile, and Neo nodded, feeling a bit more at ease. After an hour of walking, Neo groaned in frustration.

"How much longer until we get there?" he complained.

Jason, not looking back, snapped:

"Quit complaining. Your father wants you to learn from us, so we're heading to the training grounds and our class. Some silence would be appreciated, my lord."

Matthews, trying to lighten the mood, spoke up.

"Hey, come on, Jason. Don't be too hard on the kid. He's not that old."

Jason interrupted, his voice stern:

"Silence, Matthews. We are not here to play games. We're here to teach the prince everything he needs to know to become the next king. Would you rather be ruled by an idiot who charges into battle recklessly and gets everyone killed?"

Jason's words silenced Matthews. Jason chuckled darkly and added,

"Exactly what I expected. Now, silence. We're almost there. Get your books out and give them to him so he can learn everything he needs to know. Don't treat him like royalty; treat him like someone below us or our junior. Am I making myself clear?"

Jason's sternness caused the others to sigh and nod. They continued walking until they reached a random hallway. Neo tilted his head in confusion but didn't speak, not wanting to incur Jason's wrath again. Jason summoned a small star in the palm of his hand, its white magic swirling around his wrist. He gripped something that Neo couldn't see before suddenly vanishing into thin air.
