[Congratulations! You have successfully slain the orc]

[You have earned 2 Mystic points]

Normally if Turpis could hear those sounds like notifications he would be shocked and might diagnose himself with a psychological disorder.

However, in his current situation, due to adrenaline he didn't notice anything, even the loud footsteps that were coming behind the metallic door, the only thing that was on his mind was that he killed someone and he did it with his two hand.

Turpis took a deep breath and surveyed his surroundings, taking in the sight of the people chained to the walls. They looked shocked and confused, and he knew he had to act quickly to free them. With a burst of energy, Turpis ran to the side of the wall to start working on releasing the humans from their chains.

Creak.

Just as he was about to free them, Turpis froze in his tracks as he heard the creaking sound of the metallic door opening. He quickly turned around and saw the other orc he had seen earlier returning to the room. The orc's eyes widened in surprise as he saw Turpis standing there, poised to free the prisoners.

As the orc's eyes fell upon his fallen comrades, a fierce rage began to boil within him. His muscles bulged and his green skin began to darken to a deep shade of red.

Turpis could see the veins in his neck pulsing as the orc let out a deafening roar that echoed through the cave. Suddenly, tiny symbols began to emerge on the orc's skin, like ants scurrying across his body and leaving a trail of dark tattoos in their wake.

Turpis knew he was in trouble as the orc advanced towards him, the orc's huge fists clenched and his teeth bared in a menacing snarl.

Turpis held his spear tightly as he could feel a wave of fear wash over him as he realized he was at a disadvantage in this fight. The orc was clearly stronger and more experienced in battle. Turpis quickly assessed his options and knew he had to act fast. He searched his pockets and found the keys, and his smartphone, the makeshift stone knife is hanging on his belt, but he knew it would be of little use against the towering orc.

The orc charged at Turpis with a ferocity that was terrifying to behold. Turpis tried to dodge and weave, but the orc was too fast and too strong. With a swift blow, the orc knocked Turpis to the ground, causing him to drop his spear.

Turpis scrambled to his feet and tried to run, but the orc was relentless. With each blow, Turpis felt his strength diminishing. He knew he had to come up with a plan or he would not survive this fight.

As Turpis stumbled back, he caught sight of a loose chain on the wall. He quickly realized that it could be his only hope. With all the strength he could muster, Turpis dodged the orc's next attack and lunged toward the chain. He grabbed it with all his might, feeling the rough metal digging into his palms.

The orc was caught off-balanced by Turpis' sudden move and stumbled forward. Seeing an opportunity, Turpis throw the chain around the orc's neck and pulled with all his might, choking the orc. But the orc was not about to go down so easily. With a fierce roar, he grabbed the chain and pull Turpis towards him.

'Fuck'

Turpis was caught off guard and his left hand was caught by the other hand of the orc, Turpis grit his teeth as he felt the grip of the orc on his wrist, the bone on his hand was shattered to pieces, and with a fierce roar, the orc bit his left arm.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh"

Turpis screamed in agony as the orc's teeth sunk deeper into his flesh, refusing to release him. With his right hand, he frantically grabbed his knife and tried to strike the orc, but to no avail. He could feel the strength leaving his body and knew that he had to make a decision before it was too late.

Gathering all his courage, he gritted his teeth and, with a swift motion, sliced through his own arm with four consecutive slashes, severing his left arm, blood spurts everywhere, and the eyes of the orc were hit by his blood freeing himself from the orc's grasp.

The orc was temporarily disruptive and Turpis knew that this was an opportunity so he grabbed the spear that he dropped earlier and with his remaining arm, he lunged forward with all his might, aiming directly for the orc's heart. Although the spear was plunged into the orc's heart, the force was not enough causing Turpis to begin to lose hope

'Wha-'

The orc kicks Turpis' stomach causing him to fly for about 3 meters. As Turpis landed on the ground with a thud, he gasped for air, his body wracked with pain. He struggled to get up, but his strength was fading fast. The orc towered over him, a cruel smile on his face as if he was just playing with Turpis, he raised his weapon for the final blow.

Turpis closed his eyes, ready to accept his fate, and as his past began to flash, something inside him snapped. With a fierce rage, he summoned all the strength he had left and threw a rock at the orc with his remaining arm. The orc was caught off guard and was amused, giving Turpis the opportunity to grab his fallen knife nearby.

With a swift motion, Turpis plunged the knife into the orc's chest, aiming for his heart. But to his horror, the orc merely grunted in pain and pulled the knife out with ease. As the orc towered over him, Turpis knew that his fate was sealed.

He had fought valiantly, but it was clear that the orc was too strong for him. Turpis could feel his tears and his strength leaving him as the orc raised his hand, ready to deliver the final blow.

'why' he thought, feeling a sense of despair wash over him. 'Why is it always me?'

As Turpis lay on the ground, his life slipping away, his mind was consumed by a flood of memories and regrets. He could feel the weight of his failures crashing down upon him, suffocating him.

The memory of his little sister, who had looked up to him with so much trust and hope to live, now haunted him with a deep sense of shame and guilt.

Turpis struggled to take a breath as tears streamed down his face, the realization hitting him like a ton of bricks. All his dreams and aspirations, the future he had envisioned for himself, had crumbled to dust. He had been a fool to think that he could make something of himself, to believe that he could rise above the disdainful glances of his family and the mocking faces of his peers.

As the darkness closed in around him, Turpis knew that he would never get a chance to make things right. He could only hope that his little sister would forgive him, wherever she may be. With his last breath, he whispered a broken apology, wishing that he could turn back time and do things differently. But it was too late. The weight of his failures and regrets were now all that he had left as his life slowly slipped away. But somehow, he was relieved that his life was finally over, and he died trying to save someone.
