with two human levitated on his side, Argholas fly at his best speed to go back to his tower.
it only takes a few second for Argholas to go back to his tower. but that few second is something that almost kill the two human. when Argholas enter his room, he turn his head to the person beside him and see that they both barely breathing.
'did i do something wrong with them?
did i accidentally squish them using magic? '
that is what Argholas think about why the two human in critical situation. but he put no mind to it a second later and just put them on the floor, at one corner of his room.
he then shifted his focus on the humans that he throw away into his Dwellers hideout. these people are scatered to many places and no one really stand in the same place together.
out of 11 that he throw, 3 of them already dead with broken body. it might be caused by Argholas who throw them too hard. he did remember that he didn't really consider their safety when he throw them all.
the other 8 human, on the other hand, have a slightly better condition. though it might not be too long. they all still able to stand, though scraped or bruised all over their body. they immediately put themself on guard, scared and worry that attack may come from behind their head.
then one of them suddenly fall into a hole that appear below his feet. inside the hole, a Deformed Mutant with a head splitted in two and skinny body with spike for hands, welcome him with a shriek after stabbing his body multiple times. the mutant then deliver a single deep bite into his neck and then leave him there bleeding to die.
on another place, a man is hit by a huge 3 meters tall mutant with skin as hard as a stone. the man cannot do anything even when he activate his super power. he end up half dead with his body broken in many places.
one by one, the scattered member of Second Team is killed. they either died by mutant attack or mutant trap. but all of them died in the gruesome way.
back on the tower, Argholas is able to see everything. every single person that died is happen under his watchful gaze. in his mind, there is only confusion.
' i thought it will be disgusting to see. but it turns out i just over imagine it.
their death is not as scary or as disgusting as i think.'
internally, Argholas is feeling that something is wrong. but he just cannot really put where the mistake is. after thinking for a bit more time, he decide that he cannot find answer based on his feeling alone. but he still consider his feeling as one of the clue.
deep in thought, Argholas attention is pulled back when he heard Dungeon Core notifications voice.
"Attention Dungeon Boss.
due to Challengers killed by Deformed Mutant, Dwellers Deformed Mutant amount is increased by 8
due to Challengers killed in slow and painful way, Dwellers Evil Spirits amount is increased by 3
Dungeon recieved 2500 Magic Power"
!!
Argholas know how Deformed Mutant amount increase. he sees it himself. but Evil Spirits also increase?
Argholas is confused once again.
'then that means some of them died in so much pain and slow that their souls become evil?
this feel..... wrong?' Argholas think.
'but he is not the one that do it.
so that means as long as it is painful and slow and happen in his dungeon, it doesn't matter who did it, the victim will become Evil Spirits.' Argholas conclude.
somehow this thought ease his mind a little.
"aghh... urrhh.."
one of the man that Argholas take with him finally wake up. he still looks pale and weak, but Argholas didn't really care about his condition anyway.
Argholas approach the man and lift him up with his magic.
"say, Human.
what do you know about my dungeon" Argholas asked as he stare right into the man's eyes.
his action scared the man more that Argholas even think about. the man begin to spasm, his face is pained. and soon the man's body goes limp. he is dead by fear.
"such a weak creature.
luckily i know that some of you are still strong." Argholas say for himself.
then he look at the other man that he take. his body is pale and his breathing is weak. it looks like he is on his death door.
"pity, i cannot find what they know.
but i can still use this human to advertise my dungeon."
Argholas suddenly got the idea. if he let this human go and he tell the story about him, human will know how dangerous he is. they will have to take extreme measure to deal with him. this means that human will send stronger member just to make sure he is dead.
but that also means a new human with more magic power will come. if he can kill them, his dungeon will become rich and more stronger faster.
happy with his idea, Argholas lift the last barely living human with his magic along with the already dead one. on his way to Dungeon Gate, he drop the corps near his Deformed Mutants.
when he reach Dungeon Gate, an idea flashed in his mind.
'can i leave my dungeon?'
Argholas enter his Dungeon Gate and think about activating it. his body then surrounded with blue light and split seconds later, he appear in the middle of a forest. behind him is a tower with spiraling stairs around it. the base part of his tower is a lot wider and it get smaller as it build up above. apparently since his tower only have one floor, his tower still looks like a two stories buildings.
don't want to be distracted for too long, Argholas begin to fly up higher until he is above the forest. in the distance he sees many tents and vehicle stationed. he send the half dead human fly to that camps, make sure that the human will not die when landing this time, and then go back to his Dungeon Gate.
out of impulsiveness, he make a writing on his dungeon wall.
14 comes in, 1 comes out
then Argholas go back inside his dungeon, not realizing how his writing will become an even bigger trigger for war than the half dead man that he send back.
