George was shocked and amazed by Lily's story. He couldn't believe that time travel was possible. He promised to help her find her way back home, but he didn't know how to operate the time machine.
Lily realized that the only person who could help her was her father. She knew that he would be worried sick about her, and she needed to find a way to contact him. She remembered that her father had a secret code that they used to communicate with each other.
Using the code, Lily was able to send a message to her father telling him where she was and asking for his help. Days turned into weeks, and Lily waited anxiously for her father's reply.
