In shadows of uncertainty, I stand,
Betrayed by those I once called friend.
A group I thought would never break,
Now leaves my heart in deep heartache.
Did I neglect my part to play?
And let them bear the load each day?
In whispered words, do they condemn,
The failings I now see in them?
Blindsided by this sudden twist,
A trust once strong now turned to mist.
I'll watch and learn, in silence bide,
Before I let emotions guide.
Though wounds are fresh, I'll find my way,
To face them in the light of day.
For in this darkness, I shall see,
If there's a path to unity.
Uncertainty may cloud my view,
But in this time, I'll find what's true.
Betrayal stings, but I'll be strong,
And in this journey, I'll belong.
