Lucian looked at him through the slits in his mask, "What could even cause that, could it be some kind of spell?" he asked.
Balour glanced to the side with a thoughtful gaze, "We use deduction and reason to determine the cause of such things,"
"There is indeed a possibility of it being a spell at work, but I haven't seen such an occurrence before, so I honestly can't tell you as yet," Balour shook his head.
"Then what do we do from here?" he asked.
A trace of a smile came over Balour's lips, he shifted his hood and pulled it lower over his face, hiding the details of his face, only the red gleam in his eyes remained shining through the dark.
"You start collecting evidence," Balour pointed to the corpses.
"What…" Lucian exclaimed, "…are you asking me to do?!"
He didn't want to look at those disgusting bodies again, let alone go near them.
