Alphea was surprised by his answer because as he answered her she was already probing his body to check for traces of cultivation but there was nothing to be found.
"Are you keeping secrets from me again?" she asked raising a brow.
"I never agreed to share all my secrets with you," Lucian replied smugly.
Alphea sighed, "Since you managed to keep it secret even from me, I take it that no one else knows about what it is that you've done?" she asked.
"Of course," Lucian replied, even he himself wasn't entirely sure of how much the process would change him, but he could feel the new power stirring in his limbs, and his mind was so sharp that everything seemed to be happening in slow motion.
"Well then let us be on our way, the city is filled with activity and the roads will be difficult to get through in carriages," said Alphea.
