Of the four books he received from Azerath 3 held cultivation manuals, while Azerath's tome 'Changling' was only a technique.
Lucian pulled out each of the tomes and went through them to figure out which organs they focused on, hoping that none of them had overlapping organs, it was basically rule number one of cultivating, don't use more than one cultivation technique on an organ.
The organs cannot handle being pulled in multiple different directions, find a path and stick to it, the only time a technique can be changed is if the cultivator finds a cultivation technique that complements their original choice of direction.
