Lucian felt his teeth grinding in his mouth, as he looked at his mother, his eyes burned with foul rage and madness.
Khalia walked up to him and stroked the side of his face, but the mask stood in her way, yet all the same she continued with her motherly concern.
"You've been getting busy dear, uncharacteristically busy, purchasing ingredients for alchemy, learning how to concoct some potions, I honestly couldn't believe it when I first heard, I thought for sure that your chamber maids were making jokes," Khalia explained her face coloured in honest disbelief.
"Then I heard from the academy itself that you visited and took a book from the collection while fleeing from it premises, but nothing to worry about dear ,it's all taken care of, you don't even have to return that book," she explained with a radiant smile.
