"I'm sorry," uttered Lucian, the words leaving a foreign taste on his tongue.
He slowly crawled to his feet, releasing several grunts of pain as he managed to stand on his feet, he met the eyes of the Master, to see that the anger had faded almost as if it had never been there.
Lucian staggered forward, "I'll return another day," he grumbled as he pulled himself to the door too tired to think of anything else.
"Tomorrow!" came the Masters stern reply.
"…cough…fine!" Lucian grumbled with resignation.
"A Prince shall return every day from now on, if a Prince wishes to learn the sword then he must put in the hard work that accompanies the sword's way," the Master added.
That managed to get Lucian to pause and turn back with an incredulous expression on his bruised face, though the mask kept it hidden.
