The giant kitsune shot pink fire blasts at Salem who was easily dodging them though the mist was making things a little hard for him. She had increased the lay and thickness of the mist making it harder for him.
Salem was accessing the situation specifically the fire the Kistune was shooting at him with. He was still very new at the whole spirit arts power system of Earthland but with the little exposure to Kazuki and Inari he could at least recognize it though hers was more dark and malicious. If her fire was anything similar to Kazuki then it would likely decrease his magic or stamina.
"Come on boy, stop running away from Chieko-chan. You're making her very upset~." The Kistune r spoke in a playful yet sadist tone.
"You talk too much." Salem's mumbled eyes turned reptilian green and arms became scaly as he shot a large water attack at his opponent which passed through her as she disappeared in a pink mist. "Of course."
He then jumped high avoiding a wave of pink fire then turned his arms into owl wings avoiding more fire balls but something felt wrong as this set seemed too familiar. Then it hit and so he focused on sensing the magic in the air which was a bit harder with the thickened mist but he still picked up on the pink fireballs he dodged on standby.
"Not going to happen." He said to himself as he went into his sea serpent form while in the air. "Come fourth guardians of the seas and devour these flames. Multi-Sea leviathan charge." He chanted and made six big sea serpent constructs. They each honed in on his opponents 14 fireballs and devoured them.
Chieko seeing the water constructs would be a problem; she charged up a good amount of her spiral power to the tip of her tails, lighting them in pink flames then fired like powerful cannons. Once they hit they quickly evaporated the water constructs.
When she was busy with that Salem took the opportunity to surround himself in water then rocketed himself towards her. The attack quickly landed, enabling Salem to quickly send the giant Kitsune crushing towards the other side. He wasn't done as he jumped back and turned his head into the Zingore's.
"HOWLING THUNDER!!" He shot the powerful electric blast from his mouth hitting his opponent causing an explosion.
"How dare you damage my luxurious body brat!" Chieko came out of the aftermath a little damaged and roared, spitting out some fire and anger, raising her power causing the cavern to shake violently.
'Well that box is ticked.' I thought as though his attack did damage to her it was less than he thought. He remembered Inari explaining that the most effective way to hurt and counter Yokai was with spirit arts.
Chieko shot out a rain of fire balls from the sky but they touched the ground they spawned mini kyuubi's all on fire but some more formed through the pink mistNot wanting to waste time he switched to his were-cheetah and blitzed all the the mini Kyuubis with ease but as he was about to strike the final one it exploded in blue fire catching him of guard and injuring him a bit.
This gave Chieko the opportunity to slam her tail hard on to him, sending him into the air.
"Cursed Ember Veil." She chanted as each of her tails quickly fired her pink fire at Salem trapping him in an orb of fire and she finished it off with firing her large fire ball from her mouth into it causing an inferno explosion.
"So that's what her fire does." He said to himself as even though he was healing it felt like the fire was attacking his soul causing a decrease in strength and unknown internal pain. He turned to the side and saw he was sitting next to the corpse of a man. It wasn't the only one though as he saw dozens of corpses shocking him and didn't understand why she was showing these to him but guessed that must have been a form of psychological warfare. So he turned back to normal but with the Ankylosaurus tail.
As he stayed on the spot Chieko deduced that the boy was as emotionally weak as she thought being in a form of shock at seeing the bodies of course she made some illusions to make extra bodies making sure they were extra gruesome. So while he was still processing she pounced on him ready to sink her giant claws into him.
The moment she got close to him Salem narrowly dodged the attack but her large body fell into a giant pit of sorts.
"What in the yomi!" She yelled in surprise but before she could get out Salem already slammed his tail into the ground once more causing spikes to pierce and trap her tails, legs and abdomen making her screech in pain.
He figured since the magic he used with the Ankylosaurus tail involved shaping and manipulating the earth and not creating it than the attack should be effective.
"Now freeze from the inside out." He transformed his hands into the glacier wolf's and fired an ice blast to the rock traps causing a big mist of cold air. When it cleared it revealed the ice attack didn't serve its purpose as it barely did anything to her if not nothing at all
"Foolish boy ice magic is useless on those with spiria power." Shae let out a bloody laugh and burst into her pink making Salem jump away from the pit trap but wobbled a bit when landing as the effects of that soul attack were still a little fresh.
'I should have gone into my Teostra form and blew her the hell up.' Salem scolded himself that he missed the chance to finish the battle faster. Maybe he should have detonated the rocks but he realised he can't do that yet. 'I'll have to work on that.'
Chieko jumped out of the hole with her body still on fire and attempted to land literal hits with her claws and tail which Salem was avoiding but he suspected that it would have harder due to that but he noticed that his opponent had healed so maybe she spent a good amount her power into healing herself draining her.
She fell to her back and manipulated the mist a good amount of the mist to cover herself but Salem was about to stop her but his actions were stopped by a roar of a monster coming his way so he turned towards the source and fired a lightning blast only to find he attacked nothing.
"Damn mist." He cursed she pretty much used that trick to by herself some time to recuperate. He couldn't blew it away as it was to thick and so blowing it away will take a little bit of time which would leave him open for attack and the only form which had wind magic was a little too unstable now.Though he noticed she while she was good at using her illusions and had very high magical power she wasn't much of fighter.
Then out of the mist came eight clones of the Kyuubi-Chieko coming out on all sides blocking him.
"Oh man." Salem cursed the situation.
"What's the matter boy?
"Don't tell me you're afraid."
"Where's all that bravado you were showcasing"
"Or have you accepted that a battle against me is futile."
They all spoke in pairs arrogantly as they circled him like predators surrounding their prey. Salem began thinking of a plan fast as they all shared the same magical signature so he didn't know with one real or fake so he had to switch up tactics. He switched to glacier wolf form and made a barrier around him with particular patterns causing them all to laugh thinking he was a complete idiot.
"Didn't I tell you the ice magic is useless!"
Now that here guard was dropped he switched to his Demi-Ratholas and used his fire to cause a flash of light making sure it wasn't too bright and was intensified by the ice barrier blinding his opponent. Not wanting to waste more time switching between forms he turned his wolf tail to the Ankylosaurus tail and slammed it to the ground making multiple long extreme sharp pillars of earth come from the ground at high speeds and pierce each Kyuubi making the fakes poof away leaving the real one gasping.
"Caught you mifiti yowola iwe (You rotten witch) ." Salem smirked as his magic began to flare up and focused on his hands and the left formed into the claw of the Zingore and the right into the claw sea serpent though he had to be careful to split there magic equally which was a bit rougher due to the previous soul attack she hit.
"SPARKING BEAST HYDRO-CANNON!"He launched a blast of lightning in one hand and a jet of water in the other leading them to fuse into one striking his opponent. Knocking her back a good distance away into the mist.
Even though the battle was now going into his favour he might waste too much time focusing on his standard way on magic and needed to use the more effective route when dealing with yokai.
Chieko got up and was now in her demi-human form, her body still twitching badly from the brat's last attack and her beautiful tails were frizzy. She could barely muster up the brain power to even start healing herself.
Being honest with herself, she was beginning to fear for her life, as he was not just strong but unpredictable with his take-over magic. Anything can come next as she did know what sort of other forms he had under his belt. She thought of ways she could gain an advantage and then the perfect idea came to mind causing her to smirk wickedly despite the pain.
Salem appeared from above with his hand lit in lightning magic ready to deliver the final blow but the mist covered Chieko replacing her with the surprised and betrayed image of Jasmine making him hesitate in his attack. In the brief second she smirked evilly and two flaming tails erupted from behind her striking Salem and the tail managed to pierce his stomach making his eyes widened in shock as he fell limp to the ground and with blood gushing out of the wound.
Chieko had used her spirit arts to once again heal herself and seductively crawled over to the limp body of Salem and licked her lips.
"I have to admit you fought well but this is the end.~ Your energy will surely keep filled for decades." She licked her lips and walked towards him but his body disappeared in blue fire including the blood surprising her. "WHAT!" She screamed in surprise suddenly a flesh blade erupted from the ground stabbing her in the chest and the sword erupted in blue fire severely damaging her.
"ARRGHH!" She screamed agony as Salem came from the ground in his new form.
He had slightly glowing ruby red eyes, five brown fluffy fox tails, fox claws and paws covered with brown fur, and three whisker marks on his cheeks.
With another flesh blade in hand and was about to cut her head but she barely managed to dodge but not without a large cut to her cheek making her scream more in pain causing Salem to smile saucily in amusement.He used one of his tails to pull out the sword from her abdomen making her flinch in pain. Seeing the opportunity he fired a blast of blue fire from his mouth sending her crushing.
"Oi~Oi~Oi~. Don't tell me that was all that took to take you down. So much for the great and beautiful Chieko-sama." He smiled playfully as he lit himself in blue fire cleansing him of the previous soul. "Good thing I asked Inari what sort of magic she gave me with this transformation.'
"H-HOW!?" Chieko questioned as she held her badly bleeding stomach to make it worse she did have enough energy to use spirit arts to heal herself. As yes the battle did take a lot from her yes but the attacks from this Kitsune from his were seemingly affecting her soul.
"That's for me to know and you to find out~." He said cheekily while flipped the bird at her and stuck his tongue out. 'Props to Naruto Uzumaki making clones is a lot tougher than I thought. Just making one took a good amount from me and that man can make thousands of those things.
Chieko lost herself in rage and hatred that not only did this child insult her but he also had the nerve to continuously damage her beautiful body over and over again. So she transformed into her Kyuubi form once more completely, not caring about her wound, fatigue and pushing her magic further while Salem looked at her with an amused smile. Before she could do more chains made of blue flames shackled her to the ground.
"No , it's like they're restraining my soul." She struggled to escape. If she wasn't low on strength she would have escaped but right now it was futile no matter how much she tried.
"As fun as it was playing with you I already told you I have places to be~." He smirked deviously as his body erupted in blue fire.
"Seraphic Foxfire Flare." He fired a huge blue fire vortex hitting Chieko sending her to the giant sakura tree causing a huge explosion causing the how area to shake violently and almost collapsing the base.
After the attack cleared it revealed Chieko was laying on the ground with her body bloody and the majority of her clothes destroyed leaving her almost naked. The once beautiful field was now a semi-destroyed large rocky cave cavern with multiple dead bodies around and some were sadly caught up in their attacks.
"ARRGHH!" She screamed in pain as her body erupted in a bright light which lasted and few seconds and the Kitsune spirit exited her body. It floated in the air while looking at Salem curiously.
He smiled and gestured to the spirit to come to him with his tail. The fox complied and ran towards him and seemingly entered his body, then in that moment his body began to change. His fur got lighter, the tip of his tails turned pink, he grew larger, and finally an additional tail also grew.
"Oh nice~. Very nice~." Salem smiled to himself as he felt that he had gotten stronger.
"N-No." He heard Chieko groaned in agony gaining his attention and he noticed her appearance had also changed. Instead of the beautiful woman in her place was a very pale wrinkly old ugly woman with barely any hair on her head and seemingly rotting skin. "G-Give i-it back t-to me! G-Give m-my back my spirit!" She yelled with a crooked voice while she struggled to get up but fell to the ground.
"Well it clearly doesn't want you~. But then again if I was trapped with all that I would be desperate to be with almost anybody else. No wonder you are so desperate to give yourself BBLs~." Salem squatted down and he noticed that she was sneakily gathering up what little magic she had for a last ditch attack. "I'll do you and Earthland a favour by putting you out of your misery~."
"N-N-OO PLEASE!" She yelled and in desperation and fear as conjuring the last of her strength and hand radiating dark magic for escape but she was shot square to the head courtesy of Salem's gun and fell to the ground limp with the wound gushing out blood.
"That's for playing with Jasmine's image." He said coldly as he transformed back into his base form."That hasn't happened in a while." Salem said to himself as the Kistune transform shifted his personality a little bit.
He than turned to the dead old woman with some mixed feelings. With all the bodies he saw around the area she killed a lot of possibly innocent people just to give herself a BBL. But at the end of the day murder was still murder and he didn't feel great committing it. He turned his hand into the Teostra's then launched a ball of fire which began burning her body.
He brought out his Ankylosaurus tail and slammed it to the ground causing chucks of them to rise from the ground with each carrying a body of a deceased. He slammed his tail onto the ground once more making deep enough holes for each of them and gently placed each of them in these holes and fully covered them. He finished things off by going on his knees and giving them a prayer for their souls to at least rest in peace .
"Muzipumula ndi mtendere kumwamba (May all your souls rest in peace)."
After he was done he took out his phone and saw the location of the anomalies. Not wanting to waste anymore time he went into his demi-Rathalos form and blasted a hole through the ceiling then quickly flew through it.
In Quill's lab
"Almost done in just a few more minutes." Gerald smirked as he looked at his new creation with the philosopher's stone in its chest almost fully absorbing the life energy Chieko had gathered through utilising the Kitsune spirit.

Also I hope a'll you don't mind if i remove the darkus bakugan as one of anomalies trapped in the base as I already put a darkness manipulator with Darkrai. But I will still add a bakugan later in the line
