Nagi Hataru walked into Tokushu Academy with his head hung low. He didn't want to be noticed when he entered, but it was quite difficult as he was the only boy there. He swiftly headed to his classroom as the teacher was about to introduce him.
"Now i'm sure you girls have read the news letter about the current situation of the school. Starting this mid-term, we are now a mixed and we have a special person joining our class today. Nagi, you can come in."
Nagi entered to an abundance of gasps and giggles before he introduced himself.
"M-My name is Nagi...hope we get along this year..."
His Introduction was followed by a round of applause, and he went to take his seat at the back of the class.
The lesson started, but a few minutes later Nagi raises his hand.
"Miss...I haven't been given a textbook, should I share with the person next to me?"
She nodded. Nagi put his table next to the one next to him and the girl on his right offers her textbook. They shared a blush before reading the book together. Nagi whispered to her.
"Thanks for sharing your textbook, um....?"
"No problem! I'm Ayame! I'm class president, so if you need anything, just ask me!"
Nagi replied, "Okay!"
"Oi, you two in the back, stop flirting and focus on the lesson."
They shared another blush and began to do the work.

Nagi found himself in the empty halls of the school, passing by classrooms and lockers. He soon spotted a door named 'Club Room'. He opened the door. Upon entering, he was amazed by it's sheer size. The clubrooms had different themes for every possible club he could think of! The school also provided funding for the clubrooms and club equipment. Nagi saw clubs such as the 'Literature Club', a book-related club, the 'Student Council', a club for student affairs, and the 'Coding Club', which taught its members about computer science and programming. Nagi headed over to the Coding Club, as he was a bit of a computer expert himself.
The room was filled with computer equipment. The people inside were busy typing away at their computers.
Upon noticing him, they immediately stood up and welcomed him inside. He saw many different kinds of people, all passionate about computer science and technology. A girl with purple hair walked towards Nagi. She introduced herself as Saori and asks, "Well?" she says, "Why do you want to join us?"
Nagi replied, "I love computers. Anything about them just makes me interested."
"That's great to hear!" she smiled. "We do programming and computer science here. We all share our expertise and experiences to help each other become the best we can be! The club also gets sponsored by a big tech company which provides equipment and funding for the club.
So what do you think? Do you still want to join?"
"Of course! Please, show me around the club room."
Saori's eyes flickered with excitement as she explained to you all the different tech stuff in the room.
Nagi got a crash course in computer programming and computer science.
The other club members welcomed him into their tech-centric community and he learned a lot about what they do!
"Thank you Saori. I will remember this."
Nagi waved goodbye to Saori and the other club members, and exited the room.
'I've just joined a club! I have new friends and I feel a whole lot less lonely. This school is great!'

The cafeteria was a huge room. The tables were filled with girls eating their lunch and discussing different topics.
As soon as Nagi enter, the girls stopped dead in their tracks and stared at him. He's the only dude here. Nagi grabbed a meal and sat at a table by himself. He went to start eating. The whole room went quiet. He could hear only his utensils clinking. The girls looked at him, some with disdain, some with fear. There was no escaping their eyes. The lunchroom was so silent that Nagi can hear his heart beat. He could sense all of the mixed emotions in the air. Disgust. Surprise. Curiosity.
Ayame stood up on her table and clapped her hands. "Attention, everyone!" she yelled.
Everyone turned to look at Ayame. "The school is now mixed! It is time to welcome our first male student!"
Nagi waved sheepishly.
The girls went nuts about this news. They all began cheering and going wild. "We're finally mixed now, thank the gods! Welcome, new boy!" they yelled. They all swarmed him, with the biggest smile on their faces. The whole room was filled with the sound of girls celebrating and screaming loudly.
"Wow... You're so handsome!"
"You're super cute!"
"I've never seen another guy in my life before!"
The girls shouted different things at Nagi while he sat there, smiling shyly. It's almost as if they were falling in love. He felt the warm attention of the whole room.
Nagi eventually finished his food and thanked Ayame.
"Oh, you're welcome! If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask me okay, Nagi?" Ayame gave him an innocent smile.
As Nagi finished his food, the bell rang, and suddenly the lunchroom emptied out. The girls went to their next classes but stopped by to say hi to him before they do. It was clear they're already missing him.
The hallways were busy with students rushing to their different classes. One of the girls spotted Nagi and stopped to talk.
"Hey, the new guy is lost!" she shouted.
Suddenly, the girls circled around him.
Some of them were really friendly, some of them seemed disgusted, and others were staring at him like an animal at the zoo. It was pretty obvious that he was really confused. He's got to find his classes quick!
"Um, does anyone know where my english classroom is?"
"The English classroom? Follow me!" one of the girls suggested. They crowded around him and practically started carrying Nagi to the classroom.
"Wow! He's so light!" one of the girls squealed.
"What a cutie!" another added.
"Does he have a girlfriend?" a third asked.
Nagi stuttered and blushed, "N-no, i don't.."
"He's a bachelor!" another shouted.
They all started giggling and whispering amongst each other. It was clear that the girls were interested in him. He was the only guy in a mixed school, after all! They kept giggling all the way as he got led to his class.
"Thank you, girls! You really saved me there."
"No problem! We have to keep an eye on a guy like you!" one of the girls joked and the girls laughed.
Nagi took a deep breath and prepared for his next class.
'Here goes nothing...'
