Chapter 75 - nyx pov

It was... Amusing. That's what this mortal was... Or rather he isn't a mortal now is he?

I suppose he has earned his right to godhood. Considering all the horrors he experienced in this world so far, it's honestly surprising he hasn't lost it.

It was also difficult on who to call a beast, Percy or the other beast. Because while they were beasts, Percy fought like one.

Since his curse of Achilles wasn't working in this world, he relied on his animalistic nature. So he fought, clawed, and bit his way to victory.

Isofka was right there next to him, covering his back. Which wasn't surprising, but... That made her feel useless.

She was supposed to be at her future hus-, at Percy's side. She was supposed to be killing the beast with him.

Hell, she even made this human body from all his sacrifices. She even made it with his taste in mind.

A tall woman and... Well you know the rest.

Of course, getting used to this human body since she now had human limitations.

It wasn't like this mongre-... Seems Percy was rubbing off on her.

Percy's movement got more fluid, instead of blocking he went for dodging. He never used his power of darkness to make the portals he usually does.

That being said, he was a force of nature. The mong-beast ran rampant in every part of the city, enough to fill blocks.

Percy didn't back away in fear, not like Isofka, no he charged. He ran forward throwing himself at the enemy.

To be fair, he didn't have to worry about death since he had the hunter dream.

And also because his fighting with his bare fist was strong. Strong enough to kill in a few punches.

Isofka and I watched as Percy bit off one of the dog's throats before standing back up.

I watched as his energy gathered in his throat before he let out a very loud shout.

Nearby windows broke, the beast died, and the ones who survived were left wishing they didn't.

Nyx and Isofka were spared because even while Percy was in his rage mode, he controlled the darkness to prevent the sound from reaching them.

"What is that," isofka the ever-curious doctor asked as she inspected the damage to the buildings.

I rubbed my chin in wonder, I remember Percy making that in Dark Souls 3 after killing a dragon.

"I believe he called it "dragon shout" and it does live up to its name," I said.

Isofka paled drastically when she learned that this skill of percys could be spammed.

...

And now he went and adopted a girl. I had no problem considering I was once a mother and knew how parental urges were.

But he was protecting the weak, and this girl was hitting his weak spots.

Trying to find her father? He was trying to get to his mother. All alone? He was also alone... Nyx didn't count until recently.

This girl was exactly like him, and the similarities were frightening. I guess you could say he has brotherly instincts since that's how he responded.

A smile etched itself onto NYX's face. If only she had met Percy earlier... He would have made for an excellent husband.

...if Nyx looked closely enough, she could see that he also acted like Erebus, and had that radiant glow of his.

He only... Well lacked the wings and halo and that would have been her husband.

Awww he looks so cute trying not to drink from his flask. He seemed to be restraining himself now that he had a girl to take care of.

My eyes widened as I saw a new shout Percy had made.

"Tiid klo ui," and then the time slowed.

By the time everything went back to normal, the street was cleared of every beast.

And Percy continued, only unlocking a shortcut and going back to the hunter dream.

The girl had viewed Percy as her older brother, and everyone entered the dream.

...this world was about to know chaos... Oops, sorry mother.

(The end)
