"I'm glad that you think that," Krisha smiled at him from behind.
"I do too," Taro chuckled back. "As much as I can see some benefit from it, it just isn't worth the effort."
Krisha hummed in agreement at Taro's words. As much as she wouldn't have minded him wanting to take revenge, she felt a bit relieved that she wouldn't have to deal with him wanting to go down that dark path. It was just not worth all of the potential heartache, especially since the man her husband wanted to kill was one of the most powerful demons in the land right now.
Taking that thought to the back of her mind, Krisha simply buried her face into Taro's neck as they made their way to this treehouse that they would stay the night in. Before long, they finally arrived, and Krisha couldn't help but crane her neck high as she stared at what was clearly a well-kept abode.
