What is this chase was looking through the remnants of old archive in the storage when he heard a clash of sounds and loud crying he lefte to see what was happening when he felt an intense heat lookinh over at the window he rushed over ( BANG BAAANG BOOM )
He woke to what felt like he was struck by a baseball bat across his head luckily it was just a car.
"You there! You can't go around acting like that!" The woman yelled as she ran across the street, chasing after the man who had fallen. "Stop...you're going to get yourself killed." She shouted at him as she grabbed his arm and helped pull him up.
The man sighed heavily, looking at her hand wrapped around his arm. He was almost embarrassed by how long it took him to stand back up again. "I'm sorry," he muttered, "I didn't see you there..." His voice trailed off as he turned and looked over his shoulder, noticing the woman now walking towards him. After a few moments, they came face-to-face, and he coughed nervously before speaking. "Um...are you alright?"
"It's okay," She said, reaching out and placing her hand on his chest to steady herself. "You just fell, and I don't know what happened, but I couldn't let you stay lying there." She then glanced down, noticing a small bruise beginning to form under the man's right eye. "Are you hurt anywhere else?"
"No, no," He replied quickly, shaking his head. "Just my pride. And, uh...maybe a little bit of me too." He laughed awkwardly. He could feel his face redden, realizing how bad things must have seemed.
She smiled gently, trying to reassure him. "Well, if you need anything..."
He started to shake his head, "Oh, no, no. No, thank you. Really. It's fine." A weak smile crossed his lips, though he tried not to look away. "I just...have to go." He said quietly, waving his hand dismissively as he turned to walk away.
What were their names? They should have introduced themselves. They were both curious about each other. They both knew there was some sort of chemistry between them. Yet Fear kept them from speaking. There was something familiar about the other person, yet they couldn't quite place it. Their hands brushed against each other when they were heading towards a club. What do they say or ask?
Kaitlynn stood in front of her bathroom mirror, brushing her hair. She had a small glass vial filled with clear liquid in one hand, the other resting on the sink.
"god damn it," she cursed softly, staring at her reflection, "This is ridiculous. Why am I even bothering...?"
She shook her head and rinsed the brush out, then put it down.
He tells her his name and confesses he is drunk. They both head to his house, and she helps him when he repeats himself, thinking to introduce himself repeatedly.
"Hey, wait up," Kaitlynn called as she hurried after the man. She pulled open the door to the apartment building and stepped inside, pausing for a moment and looking around. As far as Kaitlynn could tell, nobody else was home. The lights were off, and she heard no sounds from the other apartments. She followed the man through the dark hallway, keeping an eye out for possible traps..she was always cautious but this was a safe space for the bothe of them while in his drunken stupidity he told her why he cant be happy you see he was a cargiver for orphaned children he always helped them it was an all girls orphanage they wher too young when the fire started and didnt know how to get out he was thier sober never did drugs or alcohol of any kind gentle in nature that day he watched helpless through the glass pain it was a double side building but his had bars on the ouside window so he couldn't break through the children was a large window so he could see all 27 children ranging from the age of 3 to the oldest being 15 years old he knew some were in critical condition others was dead but he was relieved none of the children lived he sat holding his head crying for hours until another gurney came rolling out of the building with another body on it he cried harder than ever telling the officers and paramedics he saw them melting like wax then they started to bubble the skin blackened to ash what he considered to be his girls because he loved them like his own if he would be a father he felt a failure the screams ring like an alarm and he could smell them throught the glass they was screaming and burning a child was on the floor near the window his head was pressed up against the glass trying to reach through but he couldn't it was too hot he could feel the heat from the outside air he was getting drenched in sweat and blood tears was running down his face and when realized it would be better that they died there was no coming back for them from the fire the coroner needed him to identify all of them when he pulled out Katrina and sophie twins they were turning 10 today when he collapsed heart broken waking in a hospital helling the nurse his girls where are my girls fainting yet again as days passed he came to terms with the fact that his girls where gone but there were many more children who weren't as lucky as he was when he got to work next morning he was told to stay home due to the burn marks he had and his eyes swollen shut he wasn't feeling well so he went home.
Shocked to hear this, she calmed him before giving him a sleeping aid. It was too much for he was dressed as a jester clown, so she left him. Never to return, so she thinks.
The following day he woke from his alcohol-induced slumber with a hangover. He cleaned himself up and fixed his jester costume to perform on the corner of chase ave. and Morgan St. When he arrived, he saw another performer. It so happened her name was Morgan, and he was Chase. If that was a coincidence, then fate is sure funny.
She was a mime and wouldn't say anything. She would act out her words. He was shocked that he was having such a great time with her. Only when he was leaving did he meet the club owner and ask him where she was. ChaseChase said he couldn't find her. He was agitated and told him to keep an eye out for her. She was a good girl that vanished when he turned around like magic. Maybe she is his imagination, or maybe not. People stand and watch her, so it couldn't be she is a hallucination. He will ask her age. After all, it has been three days, and he can't stop thinking about her. He knows Morgan's name so well that he says he will ask her out when I see her again.
"Joker!" The man shouted, rushing over to the counter. "Where the hell have you been?!" He growled at him, clearly angry.
The man shrugged, "Busy, I guess." He chuckled awkwardly.
"You say that like it's some excuse, Joker!"
The man laughed. "It's not, really." He admitted, "I just...I've been busy, that's all."
The man nodded. "Yeah, yeah, I know." He sighed, "Look if you don't want to talk about it, that's fine. I just wanted to ensure you weren't avoiding me." No, I was just looking for a girl about 5 foot 6 inches
Probably around 19, she dresses as a mime, and her name is Morgan. Have you seen her im looking to ask her out on a date, maybe get her to talk to me.
The man chuckled. "Ah, so you're interested in a mime, huh? Well, I'm glad to hear it! But, um...I gotta warn you: I think she's taken." He explained, leaning forward slightly. "She works at a bar down in Chinatown. You might wanna try there."
The man was flabbergasted. "Seriously?" He asked incredulously, "Who'd she take? Is someone else here? Or somebody else entirely?"
He shakes his head. "Nah, dude. She's taken by someone else," he explained. "I don't know who it is; I just know he's a regular customer. He comes in often, and I think he sometimes takes her out on dates."
He sighs. "I don't know if he's an actual boyfriend or a casual hookup, but...well, either way, I think she's taken, know?" He explains, "But if you want to meet her, I'll help you."
His friend nodded, "Thanks, man.
Taking his information and heading to the place he had described with a happy-go-lucky attitude, he, unfortunately, didn't find her. Maybe it was someone else dressed like a mime. On his way home, he saw her at the corner acting for people, and he questioned himself. He was just there. It took only 8 mi minutes to get to China town she has a setup that takes at least 40 minutes to complete, so he waited to see if she would come out, but Morgan didn't, so he walked around the area and found her performing again he stopped and watched a little longer before approaching her as was finishing up she looks at him and smiles waving both hands as to say hello to him.
He asked her her age and if she would like to go on a date with him. Excited, she nods with a grin holding her hand up. She implied her age was 14, but he is 23, which will not work for him. Still, he offered, and as a gentleman, he took her on a date and explained he may not be the perfect match for her, but at least we could be friends, and maybe friends can lead to more things in the future. She smiled, gesturing an implied mature thing adults do. Shocked at her display and proposing an adult relationship, he apologized for the misunderstanding, explaining that she was too young. Then went to leave. She stopped him and asked him to stay, but he hesitated. He wanted to go home, so he replied. He's cute and sweet, and she liked him and would be sad if he left her with all the gesturing of her hands and acting out. He wondered why she never spoke when she opened her mouth to reveal she had been severely burned and the insides of her mouth, even her tongue, had been removed, so he stayed. They talked to her some more and more and became close friends.
At some point, he told her he would walk her home, but just then, she got up and smil3pointed at the window with bars. When he looked back, it was as if she faded, disappearing before he could see her again, so he went home alone and drank his bottle of whiskey.
As days passed, he saw her at the same place every day, and one day, he noticed it was gone, and he got worried maybe she moved. So he asked around the neighborhood, and a few shopkeepers saw her but needed to know where. She goes they even say she might be an illusionist and a mime. One second, she is there. The next, they describe her as gone.
One day he decided to visit her and saw her in action. He watched her act out a song he liked and then approached her. When she finished, he asked her if she needed any help, and she nodded yes, and he helped her with her props. He then walked her home, and she thanked him with a nodding gesture for walking her home. He agreed to call her sometime in the week, and she walked away smiling at him.
He was happy he had made a new friend, and she seemed to like him also. He agreed to go on a date with her not because he was a creep but because Chase felt alone, and he knew how it feels to be afraid of yourself even more. So she is a young girl posing as an adult woman, and he feels a resounding responsibility to protect her for some reason.
Kaitlynn slept in late that weekend. It was nearly noon when she finally woke up and was starving. Kaitlynn rolled out of bed and stretched. She quickly changed into jeans and a T-shirt, then headed downstairs. Her stomach growled in response to the smell of food, and she hurriedly grabbed a slice of pizza from the counter.
She ate as she sat at the table with her laptop open. She had plenty of homework but figured she deserved a bit of fun after spending most of the last month working. She logged onto Facebook and searched for people she knew. One of the first pages that popped up was the page for her college newspaper. She clicked on it and scrolled through the
comments.
"Another night of heavy drinking, and you want to go out with a girl who's underage?" A user named . "What exactly are you trying to prove?" Hellz_dementedprince98 commented
Kaitlynn frowned, then clicked on the comment. The profile picture belonged to a guy named Kevin. He was tall, skinny, and had long brown hair and dark eyes. He looked like a typical frat boy, but Kaitlynn couldn't quite put her finger on it. looking at his shared links she found mor coments like these

.....
they must have loged out. why do they have videos of me? who was watching him? what is going on? "Im going to figure this out!" she smirked.
Finally, she discovered who this was about and started digging for who the girl was. Not long into her search, she found that it was one of the twins who Chase thought was dead. She managed to survive a coma the entire time. When she awoke, she saw a jester that made her smile, said one of the medical records, so her therapist suggested that she change her name and do what would make her happy.
Assuming this really is Sophie, Kaitlynn has to tell Chase he has to know. He loves her, so he needs to be there for her. The other option is he doesn't love her and never did. She can't risk it.
She decides to message Chase to let him know that this girl is alive, but she doesn't want to start a fight with him. Or would it be best to see his true intentions? Kaitlynn wondered while reading other comments on the page.
After a bit of time, she heard a knock on her door. Curious, she stood up to answer it. As she opened the door, she gasped. Standing on the other side was the person she had been searching for. She couldn't believe her eyes. Sophie was still a teenager, though she looked older than she actually was. Her short blonde hair framed her face beautifully. But how, why is she there? She doesn't even know her. Looking at Sophie, who claims to be Morgan, Kaitlynn heard a voice ringing in her ears saying not yet, I must save him. Do nothing. It will be fine. Sophie's mouth closed, and a ball of light went back in. She slowly disappeared before Kaitlynn's eyes. Afraid she fainted the following day, Kaitlynn woke up to find her laptop filled with hateful comments about Chase and how advantageous he is, why isn't he was arrested, and what his deal with talking so loud on posting a video of him talking himself, and another showed him with a girl dressed as a mime walking by a diner on Campbell Street got it an address that 3 states over. She said to herself what was I thinking? Getting drunk and going three states over, man? This is going to take a lot of work to get to him. He knows nothing about what's happening, and the girl is an apparition. Now im having nightmares about that creature. The way she looked at me and talked to me. My heart was beating like crazy I couldn't sleep. This is crazy. I need to think about this more. Chase may be in danger, and people are beginning to gather he has been through enough tragedy. Does anyone know where he's at? Kaitlynn grabs her car keys and leaves for Chase's apartment.

Chase had been walking around in circles, trying to figure out what to do. Morgan isn't even around anymore. For the last 4 months, she has not appeared anywhere. Worried she may have gotten hurt or attacked, he rushes out on a rage-filled drinking spree. He goes from downtown to Glenn County, walking all the backstreet he can, searching dumpsters and dark places. He finally passes out in a park two states over; still worried about Morgan, he wakes up in the middle of the night and makes a phone call, hoping for some answers. The phone rings twice, and he gets a hello on the other end. He says hello and then asks if that is the police department. He was looking for a missing person, a friend that disappeared. After telling the officers on the line who she is, they find Morgan, that died two weeks ago, but the age doesn't match. This was an elderly woman named Morgan, so he wondered if he was losing his mind.
When he arrived back, hungover and in pain from continuous running just then, he saw Morgan from a distance smiling and waving, dressed as the mime she usually is. When he saw her, he ran toward her. With relief said, I was worried sick about you. What were you doing? Where did you go?
She motioned, working I was working as a mime. Chase smiled and hugged her.
He said thank you for being my friend Morgan. Chase said. With that, Morgan replied hastily, nodding your welcome and kissing him on his cheek. He couldn't help but wonder why she never mentioned moving around to perform her miming act. But really, it's none of his business. He decided to focus on the now. He asked her if she was hungry, and she nodded. He said, let's eat somewhere, and they walked to their favorite diner.
Once inside, he ordered them a meal, chatted with her about various things, and learned that she had been working as a mime since she woke up one day in a hospital and was exploring better locations to perform. She told him how she saw him and was inspired to do comedy skits as a mime. Chase laughed and cheered her on and said to her that she was terrific and that he loved seeing her perform. They shared stories of things and times past, and soon enough, the conversation moved toward serious matters. She can't stay for long. She has to go home, but someone will be there to help her chase. Morgan kissed him and said I miss you too, Dad. I have to go. Morgan ran down the street chase, following as fast as he could, reaching the burnt orphanage that had not been repaired for years. She looked at him slowly. Morgan walked up where the stairs used to be. Chase was baffled seeing her floating up, and then she changed her appearance. He cried Sophie is it you? Where is your sister? Sophie whispered as she vanished. Kaitlynn approached Chase as if nothing had happened. Chase looked at her and asked if she saw that. Kaitlynn shook her head no. Chase sighed and said well, she is safe for now. Kaitlynn asked if he was okay after what happened to Morgan. Chase smiled and said yes, I am fine. Wait, what do you know about Morgan he asked.
Kaitlynn looked at him and said only that she was a girl who was supposed to be dead, that she survived a coma and was given a new name, and that she was living in the burned orphanage that had not been repaired mysterious. Somehow she is Sophie who came to me demanding I not tell you what people are planning against you. Chase raised his eyebrow. Kaitlynn said that she wasn't sure if the girl was real. Or just a messenger. Kaitlynn told him everything and what he was actually doing. Kaitlynn told him about the video uploaded to his page and that she found the location of the video.
Chase was shocked and wanted to confront the people behind the video, but she didn't want to ruin anything. It was important tho, ugh, he needed to know. Kaitlynn explained she thought she was still alive, but that day, she arrived at my apartment, glowed, and telepathically told me not to come here. She was afraid not to act on instinct. Chase said well, your ri. Get. I'm glad she is safe. Chase tried to remember the video that was uploaded. He went to a cafe with Kaitlynn to use her laptop, searching the profile to watch it again, but it was deleted, so he logged into his account and looked for any videos that might be related, but he didn't find anything. Chase told Kaitlynn that I had an idea, and she listened. He said to her that he would go home that night and wait for Morgan to appear, and if she did, he would ask her for answers.
With that, Kaitlynn left Chase wondering what her idea was. As it happened so fast, a KBB attacked Chase and Kaitlynn, accusing them of being groomers and traffickers and a murder. Chase was beaten so severely that he woke up in the hospital. Kaitlynn was half dead and in a coma, frblunt-forceblunt-force trauma to the skull. Chase would recover, but Kaitlynn never would. The doctors told Chase that the brain damage was severe and that she would never wake up from a coma. Chase blamed himself. Leaving and going out drinking again. Four years later, Chase finds himself in a garbage can. Hso-called also-called old friends run him off, wanting nothing to do with him. They believe he was the one who started the fire, abducted and attempted to groom a child, and brutally beat his girlfriend Kaitl, Lynn, but he only knew Kaitlynn for one week before she moved, and the fire was declared that the birthday candle, set the stove on fire where children lit the candle while transgress was still on. Chase was later caught by police pending a response to investigate, but not enough evidence was found to convict him, so by a jury of his peers and with everyone believing the online Here say, he was sentenced to three years in prison. He got out after two years. Searching for a job. He came across the old orphanage looking up, wondering if Kaitlynn wasn't there, would his friends have had sympathy for him? Maybe Sophie what they were going to do to him, smiling and waving up at the window, where the twins used to spend their time. He said goodbye, Morgan. And walked on, passing up a bridge and a bag with handkerchiefs knotted together. There were about fifteen feet. He laughed, tightening a loop around his neck and post, leaping hysterically off the high bridge and falling into the water below. When he came out of the water, he couldn't help but be hysterical. The handkerchiefs vanished mid-jump. Chase had a few days to about nk about what he should do. He decided to visit her grave and leave a present and flowers to show he cared. Once there, he placed a bouquet of flowers on the grave and sat d, down and wept silently for a few minutes.
Chase stood up, brushed himself off, and began walking away from the cemetery. He stopped to look at a nearby house and remembered how much fun he had playing there as a kid. It was a Victorian-style house that had been abandoned for years. Chase looked around, saw no one else around him, and decided to explore. He walked up to the door and pulled out a key in a shirt pocket. Unlocked the door and pushed it open. He entered, stepping softly to avoid making noise. But it was abandoned, so he moved on, looking from room to room, realizing how he got the key. Looking back, he wonders if he was more sane in prison or mentally. Chase went to exit the house. As soon as he left the door, he fell through the front cellar and back into the place. Finally, after retiring, he found himself in the same spot as Kaitlynn and Morgan. Chase didn't know what was happening.
Maybe karma for his failure to protect them. Chase lay on the ground. He started to panic. Suddenly the entire house was engulfed in flames. Chase struggled to move, but he couldn't. Chase felt himself starting to lose consciousness. The smoke began to fill his lungs. He was going to die. Chase closed his eyes. Chase found himself at the river. He wondered what to do. He was all alone again. Chase found a rope tied to a tree near the bank and jumped in. He was not strong enough to swim against the current. Chase kept swimming until he reached the opposite side of the river. Chase grabbed onto a log and rested. Chase looked up to see a girl standing over him.
She had blonde hair and blue eyes. Her skin was pale. She had a black dress on with white gloves and shoes. She was wearing a necklace that had a pendant shaped like a teardrop.
Chase tried to talk to her, but his voice wouldn't work. The girl took out a knife and slit his throat. Chase knew that she was going to kill him. Chase tried to scream, but nothing would come out.
The girl was watching him as blood flowed out from his mouth. She turned to the other side of the river, where she could see more people. They were dragging something down the river. Chase didn't want to see what they were pulling. Chase closed his eyes to stop the pain. Chase realized that he was dying. He opened his eyes to see that the girl had vanished. Chase was still breathing. He felt something warm and wet running down his face. He looked up. His chest had a hole, and his heart was bleeding out. The girl stood above him with the knife in her hand. She wiped it clean on her dress. Then she picked up a rock and threw it at Chase's head. It hit him hard and sent him rolling backward and into the river.
Chase was gasping for air when he surfaced. He couldn't breathe anymore. Chase struggled to swim but couldn't go up. Excepting his death, he stops. He. He realized there was nothing he could do. He lost his mind and couldn't understand what was happening and why the girls would ap6one right after the other to kill him. It wasn't his fault. He was just there to help t. Why. Why would they hurt him? Chase started to drown. In the end, he died. Chase awoke to find himself on the floor of what seemed like a bar. He was disoriented. He was thirsty and tired. He lay there for a while before he heard a woman speaking. Chase went to the bar and saw Morgan sitting there with a bottle of whisky. Chase asked her what happened. She said that she was able to find him after several attempts. She said that he is alive and safe now. Chase responded you wait, what? You can talk. Happened to your face? It was burned out. Morgan said she didn't know. Chase asked why she left, and she said that she didn't want to leave. Chase said Morgan would always have a place in his heart, and he asked why. She tried to help him figure out why. He was having these visions. Chase knew nothing of it, and that his life was a mess, so he told her she should keep searching. Chase said that he was going to sleep, and he left. Chase woke up to find himself back in the orphanage and went outside to check on Morgan. Chase made sure that Morgan was okay and that she was asleep. Chase looked up and saw Kaitlynn and Sophie standing there. Chase asked if they knew anything about this, and they both shook their heads no. Chase asked what was going on here. They said that he was stuck in a loop and that thweren'tweren't supposed to tell him. Sophie and her sister have been trying to say to him for a long time that Kaitlynn is alive and stuck in a coma with Sophie. There were five survivors he didn't really know ab. All. All of them died in his mind except for Sophie and Kaitlynn. Chase asked if sophies sister was still alive and who the others were. Sophie said that her sister was dead and that she killed her. It was her fault the stove was on. She didn't know the fire was out. She wanted to make herself a grilled cheese but forgot
